Water for injections

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Water for injections serves for preparation of injection solutions, providing optimal conditions for compatibility and efficiency of substrates and water.

Indications to use:

As the carrier or the diluting solution for preparation of sterile injection solutions from powders, liofilizat and concentrates. It is applied for the purpose of preparation of sterile solutions, including to hypodermic, intramuscular, intravenous administration.

Route of administration and doses:

Doses and rate of administering have to correspond to instructions on a dosage of the divorced medicines.

Preparation of solutions of medicines with use of water has to be made for injections in sterile conditions (opening of ampoules, filling of the syringe and tanks with medicines).

Features of use:

Water for injections cannot be directly entered intravascularly because of the low osmotic pressure (risk of hemolysis).

Side effects:

Today information on side effects of drug is absent.

Interaction with other medicines:

When mixing with other medicines (infusion solutions, concentrates for infusion preparation; injection solutions, powders, dry matters for preparation of an injection) direct vision on compatibility is necessary (pharmaceutical incompatibility can take place).

Contraindications:

Water as solvent of medicines is not applied to injections if as solvent another is specified.

Overdose:

Today information on overdose by drug is absent.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 30 °C.

To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Packaging:

On 1, 2, 3, 5 or 10 ml in ampoules from neutral glass.

5 ampoules in a blister strip packaging from a film polyvinyl chloride. 1 or 2 blister strip packagings together with the application instruction and the scarificator ampoule ceramic in a pack from a cardboard.

On 10 ampoules with the application instruction and the scarificator ampoule in a cardboard pack with a corrugated insert.

When using ampoules with a ring of a break or a point the scarificator ampoule is not put.
