Water for injections

General characteristics. Structure:

Structure: water for injections is purified from chemical and biological impurity (salts, gases, the pyrogenic substances, microorganisms, other microimpurity).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Solvent. Water for injections serves for preparation of infusion and injection solutions, providing optimal conditions for compatibility and efficiency of substrates and water.

Pharmacokinetics. Water for injections is included organism waters.

Indications to use:

As the carrier or the diluting solution for preparation of sterile injection and infusion solutions from powders, liofilizat and concentrates.

Drug is intended for dilution or dissolution of medicines, according to instructions on their medical use, just before intravenous, intramuscular or hypodermic administration.

Route of administration and doses:

The dose and rate of administering have to correspond to instructions on a dosage of the divorced medicines.

Preparation of solutions of medicines with use of water has to be made for injections in aseptic conditions (opening of ampoules, filling of the syringe and tanks with medicine).

Features of use:

Water for injections cannot be directly entered intravascularly because of low osmotic pressure (risk of hemolysis!).

Water for injections does not influence ability to control of vehicles and to work with potentially dangerous mechanisms.

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Contraindications are not revealed.

Side effects:

Are not described.

Interaction with other medicines:

When mixing with other medicines (infusion solutions, concentrates for infusion preparation; injection solutions, powders, dry matters for preparation of an injection) direct vision on compatibility is necessary (pharmaceutical incompatibility can take place).

Contraindications:

Water as solvent of medicines is not applied to injections if as obligatory for some of them other solvent is specified.

Overdose:

It is not described.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 2 to 25 °C. Freezing is not allowed. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to apply after a period of validity.

Packaging:

Solvent for preparation of dosage forms for injections. On 2 ml or 5 ml in ampoules of neutral glass of the NS-3 brand. On each ampoule paste the self-adhesive label or the text of the label apply on an ampoule with method of an intaglio printing quickly fixed paint.

5 ampoules place in a blister strip packaging without covering from a film polyvinyl chloride. 1 or 2 blister strip packagings place in a pack from a cardboard for a retail container. 5, 10 ampoules place in a pack from a cardboard for a retail container with partitions or lattices, or a separator from a cardboard for a retail container or paper bag. 10 ampoules place in a box from a cardboard for a retail container with an insert from paper bag.

The box is pasted over with the label - a parcel post from chalk overlay paper. Put the application instruction, the scarificator in each pack or a box ampoule. In case of use of ampoules with notches, rings of a break or points of a break, the scarificator ampoule is not put. Boxes and packs place in group packaging.
