General characteristics. Structure:

Active components - vitamin E (alpha Tocopherol acetate) – 100 mg; Excipients - sunflower oil (the sunflower oil refined deodorized) of-100 mg; Structure of a cover: gelatin, глицерол (glycerin), methylparahydroxybenzoate (нипагин), dye azoruby (dye acid red 2C).

Pharmacological properties:

Vitamin E is antioxidant. Protects cellular membranes of body tissues from oxidizing changes; stimulates synthesis gem and gemsoderzhashchy enzymes-hemoglobin, a myoglobin, tsitokhrom, a catalase, peroxidase. Slows down oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. Inhibits cholesterol synthesis. Prevents hemolysis of erythrocytes, increase in permeability and fragility of capillaries, dysfunction of seed tubules and testicles, placentae, normalizes reproductive function; interferes with development of atherosclerosis, degenerative and dystrophic changes in a cardiac muscle and skeletal muscles.

Indications to use:

Hypovitaminosis E. Complex therapy: muscular dystrophies, a dermatomyositis, atherosclerosis, myocardial dystrophies, narusheniiya of a menstrual cycle, threat of abortion, dysfunctions of gonads at men, a dermatosis, psoriasis. Use also as antioxidant means for the purpose of prevention of negative effects of accommodation in regions with an adverse ecological situation.

Route of administration and doses:

Accept inside after food. Inside on 100-300 mg/days; if necessary - to 1 g/days. At diseases of neuromuscular system - on 100 mg a day within 1-2 months. Repeated courses in 2-3 months. At disturbances of a spermatogenesis - on 100-300 mg a day in combination with hormonal therapy within a month. At the menacing abortion - on 100 mg a day within 7-14 days, at usual abortion and deterioration in pre-natal fetation - on 100 mg a day the first 2-3 months of pregnancy daily or every other day. At diseases of peripheral vessels, a myocardial dystrophy, atherosclerosis -          on 100 mg a day (with vitamin A) within 20-40 days, in 3-6 months the course of treatment can be repeated. In dermatology - on 100 mg a day within 20-40 days.

Features of use:

Administration of drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding according to the recommendation of the doctor.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, dyspepsia are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of glucocorticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cardiac glycosides. Efficiency of antiepileptic means at patients with epilepsy reduces efficiency and toxicity of vitamins A and D. Povyshayet. The concomitant use of other polyvitaminic complexes containing vitamin E in order to avoid overdose is not recommended.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug components, the acute period of a myocardial infarction, children's age. With care: a prothrombinopenia, the increased risk of a thromboembolism, a heavy cardiosclerosis, the postponed myocardial infarction.

Overdose:

Symptoms: at reception during the long period in doses of 400-800 PIECES/days (1 mg =1,21 ME) – an illegibility of visual perception, dizziness, a headache, nausea, increased fatigue, diarrhea, a gastralgia, an adynamy; at reception more than 800 PIECES/days during the long period – increase in risk of development of bleedings in patients with a hypovitaminosis To, disturbance of metabolism of thyroid hormones, disorders of sexual function, thrombophlebitis, a thrombembolia, necrotic colitis, sepsis, a hepatomegalia, a hyperbilirubinemia, a renal failure, hemorrhage in a mesh cover of an eye, a hemorrhagic stroke, ascites. Treatment: symptomatic, drug withdrawal, purpose of glucocorticosteroids.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 10 to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
