SOLUTION OF THE SPIRTOVY BORIC ACID

General characteristics. Structure:

Pharmacological properties:

Coagulates proteins (including fermental) a microbic cell, breaks permeability of a cellular cover. 5% aqueous solution suppress processes of phagocytosis, 2-4% solution detain growth and development of bacteria. Possesses irritant action on mucous membranes, granulyatsionny fabrics. Being soaked up, renders system toxic effects.

Indications to use:

Conjunctivitis, otitis, eczema (including becoming wet), dermatitis, a pyoderma, an intertrigo, a colpitis; pediculosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. At conjunctivitis wash out a conjunctival sac of 2% aqueous solution. At diseases leather are processed by the struck surfaces or use in the form of lotions 3% solution in ethanol. Side effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, epithelium desquamation, headache, confusion of consciousness, spasm, renal failure.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, HPN, acute inflammatory diseases of skin; pregnancy, children's age (till 1 year), the period laktatsii.s care. Extensive damages of a body surface.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, disturbance of functions CCC, oppression TsNS, a hypothermia, shock, a coma, erythematic rashes (the lethal outcome within 5-7 days is possible). Symptoms of chronic intoxication (at long reception) - exhaustion, stomatitis, eczema, local hypostasis of fabrics, disturbance of a menstrual cycle, anemia, spasms, an alopecia.

Treatment: symptomatic. Hemotransfusion, haemo - and peritoneal dialysis.

Storage conditions:
