Memorin

General characteristics. Structure:

International name: ginkgo biloba (ginkgo of a bilob);
Main physical and chemical properties: transparent liquid of dark henna-red color, with a specific smell, bitter on taste;
Structure: 1 ml of solution contains dry extract of a ginkgo of the bilob (standardized to 24 % of ginkgoflavonoid and 6% of terpenolakton) 40 mg;
excipient: alcohol of ethyl 70%.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Extract of a ginkgo of a bilob improves supply of oxygen and glucose to a brain. Flavonovy glycosides, ginkgolida and bilobalida are active agents of this extract. They expand vessels, improve a blood stream, prevent adhesion of thrombocytes and, regulating metabolism, protect cells and fabrics from the damages caused by deficit of oxygen. Drug improves blood circulation and metabolism in a brain and prevents deterioration in cerebration, improves blood circulation in endings, reduces a cryesthesia, a pricking, numbness and pains at circulation.

Pharmacokinetics. At internal reception there is a bystry and full absorption. A full conclusion of drug with a radioactive carbon label is carried out in 72 hours by kidneys and lungs. The period of a semi-conclusion of drug makes 4,5 hours.

Indications to use:

Age disturbances of cerebral circulation and functions of a brain (dementia syndrome  in the form of primary degenerative dementia, vascular dementia or the mixed form) which are shown by such symptoms:

- memory impairment and cerebration;
- isolation and concern;
- dizziness;
- sonitus;
- headache and  sleep disorders.

Diskulyatorny encephalopathy of different genesis (after a stroke, craniocereberal injuries, encephalopathy at people of advanced age who are shown by disorders of attention, memory, decrease in mental abilities, feeling of fear, a sleep disorder, peripheric circulation and microcirculation, including an arteriopatiya of the lower endings, Reynaud's syndrome. Neurosensory disturbances (dizziness, sonitus, gipoakuziya, old man degeneration of a macula lutea, diabetic retinopathy). Disturbance of peripheric circulation (a cryesthesia in legs, pain at circulation, a burning sensation in legs, numbness).

Route of administration and doses:

The adult internally on 40 drops 3 times a day during food. The average duration of a course of treatment makes   from 1 to 3 months.

Features of use:

The first signs of improvement of a state appear in 1 month after an initiation of treatment. Accepting Memorin, it is necessary to keep from control of vehicles and work with potential and dangerous mechanisms.

Side effects:

Digestive disturbances, headache, skin allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is unknown.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of drug components. Memorin do not appoint to children as this drug is intended for the treatment of disturbances of cerebral circulation and functions of a brain connected with age.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not revealed.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C, in protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity — 3 years.
