Энтерумин®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: powder of aluminum of the oxide covered with carbon (энтерумин).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug, has enterosorbiruyushchy, disintoxication and antidiarrheal effect, has the high adsorbing activity. Brings out of a GIT pathogenic microbic cells, endo-and exotoxins of various origin. Does not cause changes of water and electrolytic exchange, but promotes removal of heavy metals, does not absorb the hydrogen sulfide necessary for maintenance of a normal vermicular movement in intestines.

It is most effective at the diseases which are followed by intoxication average and high-molecular substances.

Pharmacokinetics. It is not dissolved in water, alcohol and biological environments, not soaked up, not metabolized and brought out of intestines within 24-48 hours.

Indications to use:

The acute poisonings and diseases which are followed by endointoxication: intestinal infections, it is purulent - septic diseases, a liver and/or renal failure, hepatitis, allergic diseases, disbolism, a burn disease, an abstinence alcoholic syndrome.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside for 1-1,5 h to or in 1 h after food or reception of medicines, in the look moistened with water. Wash down with water. A daily dose – 0,3-1 g/kg (adult – 25-75 g, to children – 6-50 g) in 3 receptions. Course of treatment of 3-14 days.

At acute poisonings, after a gastric lavage, appoint 100-150 g to the reception moistened with water or in mix with a liquid paraffin 1:1.

Features of use:

Paints fecal masses in black color. Storage of drug on air reduces sorption ability.

Side effects:

Locks which are eliminated with reception of a small dose of laxative, a diet or a dose decline of drug with increase in duration of a course, allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Decrease in efficiency of at the same time accepted medicines is possible.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, bleeding from digestive tract (or suspicion on it).

Storage conditions:

In the dry place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 5 years. Not to use after the term specified on packaging.

Packaging:

Powder for preparation of suspension for intake. On 5 g, 10 g in packages from a film polyethylene or in the packages thermowelded from paper packaging. On 100 g, 250 g in packages from a film polyethylene. On 100 g, 150 g in banks polymeric. Each can, a package on 100 g, 250 g or 10 packages on 5 g, 10 g of the application instruction are placed in a cardboard pack.
