Ambroksol-Hemofarm

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 5 ml of Ambroxol hydrochloride of 15 mg

Excipients: the benzoic acid, глицерол 85%, sorbitol of 70%, hydroxyethylcellulose 6000 мПас (gietilloza), fragrance crimson, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Mucolytic means, stimulates prenatal development of lungs (increases synthesis, secretion of surfactant and blocks its disintegration). Possesses sekretomotorny, sekretolitichesky and expectorant action; stimulates serous cells of glands of a mucous membrane of bronchial tubes, increases the maintenance of a mucous secret and release of surfactant (surfactant) in alveoluses and bronchial tubes; normalizes the broken ratio of serous and mucous components of a phlegm. Activating the hydrolyzing enzymes and strengthening release of lysosomes from Clark's cells, reduces viscosity of a phlegm. Increases physical activity of a ciliary epithelium, increases mukotsiliarny transport. After intake action comes in 30 min. and continues during 6-12 h.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption - high, Cmax in a blood plasma - in 2 h, communication with proteins of plasma - 80%. Gets through a blood-brain barrier (GEB), a placental barrier, it is allocated with breast milk.

It is metabolized in a liver, forms dibromantranilovy acid and glucuronic conjugates. T1/2 - 7-12 h. It is removed by kidneys: 90% in the form of water-soluble metabolites, in not changed look - 5%.

T1/2 increases at a heavy chronic renal failure, but does not change at an abnormal liver function.

Indications to use:

— respiratory diseases with allocation of a viscous phlegm;
— acute and chronic bronchitis;
— pneumonia;
— chronic obstructive pulmonary disease;
— bronchial asthma with difficulty of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm;
— bronchoectatic disease.

Route of administration and doses:

Syrup of 15 mg / 5 ml
Adults and children are more senior than 12 years: in the first 2-3 days of a disease on 10 ml (2 measured spoons) of 3 times/days; then on 10 ml (2 measured spoons) of 2 times/days.
In hard cases of a disease the dose is not reduced during all course of treatment.
Children are from 5 to 12 years old - on 5 ml (1 measured spoon) of 2-3 times/days; from 2 to 5 years - on 2.5 ml (1/2 measured spoons) of 3 times/days; up to 2 years - on 2.5 ml (1/2 measured spoons) of 2 times/days.
To children till 1 year drug can be appointed only after approval of the doctor.
Ambroksol-Hemofarm in the form of syrup it is necessary to accept inside, washing down with liquid.
To store an open bottle within 4 weeks.
Administration of drug more than 4-5 days only under observation of the doctor.

Features of use:

It is not necessary to combine with the antibechic medicines complicating removal of a phlegm.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: skin rash, small tortoiseshell, Quincke's disease; in some cases - allergic contact dermatitis, an acute anaphylaxis.

Seldom: weakness, a headache, diarrhea, dryness in a mouth and airways, a dieback, a rhinorrhea, a lock, a dysuria.
At prolonged use in high doses: gastralgia, nausea, vomiting.

Interaction with other medicines:

Combined use with antibechic medicines leads to difficulty of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm against the background of reduction of cough.
Increases penetration into a bronchial secret of amoxicillin, a tsefuroksim, erythromycin and doxycycline.

Contraindications:

— rare hereditary diseases, such as intolerance of a galactose, deficit of lactase or glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption (for tablets sparkling);
— a fenilketonuriya (for tablets sparkling);
— pregnancy (I trimester);
— children's age up to 12 years (a tablet sparkling);
— hypersensitivity to all components of drug.

With care: a liver failure, a renal failure, a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum, pregnancy (II and the III trimester), the lactation period, children's age till 1 year (syrup).

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and other gastrointestinal frustration.
Treatment: artificial vomiting, a gastric lavage in the first 1-2 h after administration of drug; reception of fat-containing products.

Storage conditions:

Syrup should be stored in the place protected from light at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
