Prednikarb-Darnitsa, ointment on 15 g in tubas

General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: ointment of white color with very slight specific smell;
structure: 100 g of ointment contain 0,5 g of Prednisolonum (in terms of 100% substance), 10 g of urea, 1 g of sodium of an edetat; 
excipients: propylene glycol, a medical liquid paraffin, the drug OS-20 or cetostearyl ether of a macrogoal 20, cetyl alcohol, stearyl alcohol, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug for topical administration with antiinflammatory, anti-exudative, antiallergic, keratolytic, keratoplastichesky, bacteriostatic and antipruritic action.

Pharmacokinetics. Data on pharmacokinetic properties of drug are absent.

Indications to use:

The dermatological inflammatory diseases proceeding with disturbance of process of keratinization of skin including psoriasis, atopic chronic dermatitis, various forms of eczema (including with a likhenization), дизгедроз, seborrheal dermatitis, an ichthyosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is used locally. For this purpose ointment a thin layer is applied on affected areas of skin, slightly rubbing, 1 - 2 time a day. Treatment is continued before full elimination of inflammatory process, an itch and clarification of skin. Duration of a course of treatment depends also on the nature of a disease and efficiency of therapy and averages 10-15 days. When carrying out a maintenance therapy reduction of duration of treatment is possible. In some cases, in the presence of high exudation, tselesobrazno use of drug under occlusive bandages on sites, small on the area, of the affected skin.

Features of use:

Higher adsorption of corticosteroids is inherent to children. In this regard children have a risk of development of dysfunction гипоталамо - pituitary and epinephral system higher, than at adult patients. System adsorption of corticosteroids increases at use on extensive sites of skin, and also at use of occlusive bandages, especially at children and teenagers.
Period of pregnancy and lactation
Because safety of use of local corticosteroids for pregnant women it is not established, purpose of these drugs is possible only under conditions if the expected effect of treatment for the pregnant woman significantly exceeds potential danger to a fruit.
Because the possibility of penetration of local corticosteroids into mother's milk is not finalized, use or drug withdrawal have to be based on importance of treatment for mother.

Side effects:

At use of ointment of Prednikarb-Darnits, in particular patients with individual intolerance, can have a hypostasis, an itch within an affected area. At long treatment also development of secondary infectious damages of skin, atrophic changes in it, a hypertrichosis is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

The essential phenomena of incompatibility with medicines of other groups are not revealed.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to Prednisolonum and urea, the dermatosis which is followed by the expressed exudation, a pyoderma, tuberculosis, herpes and syphilitic damage of skin, skin reactions after vaccination, a serious endocrine illness. 
Interaction with other medicines. The essential phenomena of incompatibility with medicines of other groups are not revealed.

Overdose:

At long use of ointment, it is preferential on big affected areas, development of a hypercorticoidism as manifestation of resorptive effect of Prednisolonum is possible. In this case drug is cancelled.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature from +15 °C to +25 °C. Freezing of drug is not allowed.

Period of validity - 2 years.
