General characteristics. Structure:

International and chemical names: methyluracil, 2,4-диоксо-6-метил-1,2,3,4-тетрагидропиримидин;
main physical and chemical properties: tablets of white or almost white color with a flat surface, with risky and a facet; structure: 1 tablet contains methyluracil - 0,5 g;
excipients: potato starch, talc, stearic acid, polyvinyl alcohol or polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Active ingredient of the drug Metiluratsil-Darnitsa is derivative a pyrimidine - methyluracil which activates enzymes of cells, stimulating synthesis of pirimidinovy bases, than strengthens growth and cell fission. It is similar to other derivatives of a pyrimidine methyluracil has anabolic and anticatabolic activity. Stimulates eritro-and, in particular, a leukopoiesis. Accelerates processes of cell regeneration, renders assistance to healing of wounds, stimulates cellular and humoral factors of immunity. Possesses moderate antiinflammatory action. Increases resistance of an organism to blood loss and to oxygen insufficiency. 

Pharmacokinetics. Special researches of pharmacokinetics were not conducted.

Indications to use:

Metiluratsil-Darnitsa apply at agranulocytic quinsy, an alimentary and toxic aleukia, chronic poisoning with benzene, pancreatitis, easy forms of a leukopenia owing to himio-, rentgeno-and radiotheraphy; anemias; thrombocytopenia; to blood loss, acute and chronic radial illness; inertly healing wounds; trophic ulcers, burns, fractures of bones.
It is applied also in complex treatment of a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut, at chronic gastritis.

Route of administration and doses:

Metiluratsil-Darnitsa accept inside in time or after food. The adult appoint 0,5 g (1 tablet), 4 times a day (if necessary to 6 times a day). To children depending on age: from 3 to 8 years - on 0,25 g (1/2 tablets), 3 times a day; 8 years - on 0,25-0,5 g, 3 times a day are more senior.
The course of treatment at diseases of a digestive tract makes, as a rule, 30-40 days, in other cases can be, is reduced.
Side effect. Usually drug is transferred well. Patients with hypersensitivity to components of drug can have allergic skin reactions (urtikarny rash). Occasionally, at treatment, there can be a headache, dizziness. At emergence of side reactions drug needs to be cancelled.

Features of use:

Metiluratsil-Darnitsa it is effective only at easy forms of a leukopenia therefore it is not applied at severe defeats of the hemopoietic system, and at moderately severe defeats - only in case of recovery of the broken regeneration of cells of blood.
At the focal lesions (damage of skin, proctites, sigmoidites, etc.) arising at a radial illness, administration of drug inside combine with topical administration of ointment metiluratsilovy 10% or candles with methyluracil.

Interaction with other medicines:

Interaction cases with medicines which led to reduction of efficiency and safety of the used drugs are not revealed.

Contraindications:

Acute and chronic forms of a leukosis (in particular myeloid); lymphogranulomatosis; malignant new growths of a digestive tract, peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut, inflammatory processes of a digestive tract, diseases of kidneys; the increased individual sensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

At a clinical use of cases of overdose till this time it is not registered.

Storage conditions:

Store in unavailable to children and the dry place. A period of validity - 5 years.
