General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 5 mg of Retinolum of palmitate (vitamin A) (in terms of 100%).

Excipients: butyl hydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole, wax emulsion, liquid paraffin (liquid paraffin), глицерол (glycerin), ethanol (alcohol) of 95%, water cleared.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Видестим® stimulates regeneration of skin, strengthens reproduction of epithelial cells of skin, slows down processes of keratinization, interferes with development of a hyperkeratosis. Local action is caused by existence on a surface of cells of an epithelium of specific retinolsvyazyvayushchy receptors.

Pharmacokinetics. Видестим® easily gets into skin, the maximum concentration in blood is reached in 3-4 hours after drawing and remains for 12 hours. Elimination half-life; 5,5 hours.

Indications to use:

The inflammatory diseases and conditions of skin which are followed by dryness and the slowed-down healing: dermatitis, eczemas, atopic dermatitis out of an aggravation, a cheilitis, cracks (including nipples of mammary glands) and grazes, age changes of skin, and also the diseases connected with disturbance of processes of keratinization. It is applied to activation of reparative processes at various dermatosis after the treatment termination by glucocorticosteroid drugs.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. Ointment is applied a thin layer on affected areas of skin by 2 times a day: early in the morning and late at night. At a strong peeling of skin it is possible to use an occlusive bandage. Before putting ointment of a crack and a graze process antiseptic agents.

On nipple cracks at nursing mothers ointment is applied by 2 times a day, in the morning and in the evening after feeding, with a break of 12 hours. The mammary gland needs to be washed up warm water with soap before the following feeding after Videstim® ointment use.

Duration of treatment depends on the nature of a disease and can make 4-12 weeks.

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation. Use of drug is possible when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit or the child.

Drug does not influence ability to drive the car and to perform the works demanding the increased concentration of attention.

Side effects:

Strengthening of an itch and erubescence in drug sites of application is in some cases possible that demands its temporary cancellation before decrease in sharpness of process. Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Do not apply in combination with other drugs containing vitamin A and retinoids in order to avoid a hypervitaminosis A. Nesovmestim with antibiotics of a tetracycline row.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug components, a hypervitaminosis And, acute inflammatory diseases of skin.

Overdose:

Not vyvlena.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 2 to 8 °C. Not to allow freezing. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 5 years. Not to use after a period of validity.
