N WINTERS

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: Pancreatinum with enzymatic activity: amylases not less than 4500 PIECES, lipases not less than 6000 PIECES, proteases not less than 300 PIECES.

Vspomogatelna of substance: lactose, cellulose microcrystallic, K-30 povidone, talc, magnesium stearate, sodium krakhmalglikolit (type A), silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous.

Tablet cover: K-30 povidone, talc, titanium dioxide, diethyl phthalate, copolymer of methacrylic acid.  

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The tablet is covered with the kishechnorastvorimy cover protecting drug components from influence of a gastric juice. Pancreatic enzymes are released from a dosage form in the alkaline environment of a small bowel and compensate insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas. The enzymes which are a part of Pancreatinum (a lipase, alpha amylase, protease/trypsin, chymotrypsin/) promote the proteolysis to amino acids, fats to glycerin and fatty acids, starch to dextrins and monosaccharides that leads to their fuller absorption from a small bowel. Drug improves a functional condition of digestive tract, normalizes digestion processes.

Pharmacokinetics. The maximum enzymatic activity is noted in 30-45 min. after administration of drug inside. Drug is not soaked up from digestive tract in blood and works locally.

Indications to use:

The N WINTERS is accepted for the purpose of replacement therapy of insufficiency of secretory function of a pancreas at the following states: mucoviscidosis;  chronic pancreatitis; pancreatectomy; total gastrectomy; pancreatic cancer; operations with an applying gastrointestinal anastomosis (for example, a stomach resection for Billroth of II); obstruction of the pancreatic or general bilious passage (for example, tumor); Shvakhmana-Daymond's syndrome and other diseases which are followed by exocrine insufficiency of a pancreas.

Disturbance of endocrine function of a pancreas, akhiliya. Preparation for X-ray inspection and ultrasonography of abdominal organs.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug of N WINTERS should be accepted inside, without chewing in time or right after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid.

The dose of N-ZIMA is established individually, depending on disease severity and structure of a diet. An average dose for adults – 1-2 tablets 3 times/days.

It is possible to vary duration of treatment for a single dose or several days (at disturbance of process of digestion owing to an error in a diet) and up to 2-3 months and more (in need of continuous replacement therapy). At prolonged use at the same time appoint iron preparations.

To children, since 3 years, the dose is selected by the doctor. Selection of a dose is carried out individually.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Data on use of N-ZIMA at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation (breastfeeding) are absent therefore purpose of drug is possible only when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit or the child.

Children and adults, the long time receiving therapy by Pancreatinum in considerable doses have to be observed regularly at the specialist. At prolonged use of drug at the same time it is necessary to appoint iron preparations.

Inactivation of enzymes in a duodenum as a result of acidulation of its contents, associated diseases of a small bowel (helminthic invasions, дисбиоз), дуоденостаз, non-performance by patients of the recommended treatment mode are the main reasons for inefficiency of fermental therapy.

Drug does not exert impact on ability to driving of the car and to control of cars and mechanisms.

Side effects:

From the alimentary system: seldom - a diarrhea, a lock, a sensation of discomfort in a stomach, nausea.

From a metabolism: at prolonged use in high doses development increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma and in urine is possible.

At use of Pancreatinum in high doses at children emergence of perianal irritation and irritation of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity is possible.

Others: allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of Pancreatinum with iron preparations decrease in absorption of the last is possible.

Simultaneous use of the antiacid drugs containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide reduces efficiency of Pancreatinum.

Contraindications:

· acute pancreatitis;
· exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis;
· hypersensitivity to drug components;
· children up to 3 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: increase in level of uric acid in blood serum and in urine.

Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place protected from moisture and light at a temperature not over +25 ºС. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Not to use drug after a period of validity. Period of validity 2 years.
