Hyoxysonum
General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredients: Hydrocortisoni acetas of 0,01 g; Oxytetracyclinum hydrochloride of 25800 PIECES
Excipients: methylparahydroxybenzoate (нипагин), liquid paraffin (liquid paraffin), vaseline medical.
Description: Ointment of yellow color.
Pharmacological properties:
The combined drug, oppresses development of inflammatory reactions of skin, especially allergic origin complicated by a bacterial infection as a result of total action of the components which are a part of drug.
Oxytetracyclinum - an antibiotic from group of tetracyclines, has bacteriostatic action. It is active concerning gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Rickettsia spp., Treponema spp., Chlamydia spp., Mycoplasma spp.
The hydrocortisone – a glucocorticosteroid, renders antiinflammatory, antiallergic, anti-exudative and antipruritic effects. Slows down phagocytosis. Reduces formation of arachidonic acid from phospholipids of cellular covers due to oppression of activity of a phospholipase of A2. Release of the interleykin and other cytokines possessing antiinflammatory action oppresses; slows down release of a histamine and emergence of local allergic reactions. Reduces protein synthesis and adjournment of collagen in skin, interferes with development of connecting fabric, weakens proliferative processes.
Indications to use:
Dermatitis of newborns (violent and exfoliative), the infected intertrigo, folliculites, a furunculosis, an anthrax, impetigo, an erysipelatous inflammation; the infected eczemas and wounds, erosion; small tortoiseshell of the newborn; simple and allergic dermatitis, seborrhea; "solar" erythema; multiformny exudative erythema; stings of insects; allergic and purulent diseases of outside acoustical pass; varicose ulcers of a shin, burns, freezing injuries.
Route of administration and doses:
Outwardly. 1-3 times a day apply 0,5-1 g on affected areas or on a sterile gauze with which cover skin with a thin layer, having tied up bandage. Duration of treatment is individual and depends on extent of defeat and localization. The course of treatment should not exceed 2 weeks. At use of drug on face skin it is necessary to apply ointment 1 time a day a thin layer or pointwise on elements, at the same time the course of treatment should not exceed 7-10 days.
Features of use:
During treatment it is not necessary to carry out by glucocorticosteroids vaccination against smallpox and to plan other types of immunization (in connection with immunodepressive effect of glucocorticosteroids).
In need of use of drug on face skin, treatment has to be short, in connection with the increased absorption and a possibility of emergence of side effect.
At children it is necessary to avoid putting drug on extensive surfaces and under occlusive bandages.
Side effects:
Irritation of skin, itch, rash; superinfection, allergic reactions. At use on face skin: telangiectasias, an atrophy of hypodermic cellulose in a mouth. At prolonged use and/or drawing on big surfaces - the system side effects characteristic of glucocorticosteroids.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, tuberculosis cutis, skin tumors, precancerous conditions of skin, fungus and viral diseases of skin; pregnancy, the lactation period (at use on the extensive centers of defeat).
Storage conditions:
List B. At a temperature not above 15 ºC. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after expiry date.

Each tuba together with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard.
