Herpangina



Description:


The herpangina (vesicular pharyngitis, aphthous fagingit, Zagorski's disease) is caused by Koksaki A virus. In most cases it arises in summer months at small children and begins fever and a pharyngalgia.


Herpangina symptoms:


It is characteristic that on strongly hyperemic mucous membrane of a throat, a soft palate small bubbles appear. At the same time body temperature to 38 °C increases. A part of a soft palate at a throat happens more inflamed, then in front she gradually turns pale. The inflammation does not extend to gingivas. Bubbles are easily opened, at the same time there are small erosion in number of not less than 10. There is pain at meal, swallowing, reaction of regional lymph nodes is noted. Rashes on a conjunctiva of eyes and a mucous membrane of generative organs are possible. In other cases there is only a throat hyperemia.

The disease usually proceeds easily, within 4-6 days.

Is caused by Koksaki A. virus.


Treatment of the Herpangina:


Bed rest, the febrifugal, desensibilizing drugs, weak antiseptic solutions for rinsing of a throat, vitamins B and With, Ural federal district, GNL, a balanced diet of the child.
