General characteristics. Structure:

international and chemical names: Piperazine adipate;
main physical and chemical properties: tablets of white color with a flat surface, risky and a facet;
structure: 1 tablet contains: piperazin of adipate of 0,2 g or 0,5 g; 
excipients: potato starch, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Active ingredient of drug of Adipinat-Darnitsa Piperazin is piperazin in the form of salt of adipic acid. Piperazin and its salts have protivogelmintny effect on different types of nematodes, in particular on ascarids and pinworms. Work both on puberal, and on immature helminths of both sexes, causing paralysis of muscles of nematodes which are removed further by the peristaltic movements of intestines. Extent of deworming when using drug makes 90-95%, and at repeated use reaches 100%. Thanks to what Adipinat-Darnitsa Piperazin does not destroy ascarids there is no danger of absorption of biological toxic products of their disintegration.

Pharmacokinetics. Adipinat-Darnitsa piperazin it is quickly soaked up from a digestive tract, removed preferential by kidneys.

Indications to use:

Ascaridosis (invasion ascarids) and enterobiosis (invasion pinworms).

Route of administration and doses:

Adipinat-Darnitsa piperazin for treatment of an ascaridosis appoint two times per day for 2 days in the following doses:
adults: 1,5-2,0 g on reception (3,0-4,0 g a day);
children aged:
3 years - 0,3 g on reception (0,6 g a day);
from 4 to 5 years - 0,5 g on reception (1,0 g a day);
from 6 to 8 years - 0,75 g on reception (1,5 g a day);
from 9 to 12 years - 1 g on reception (2,0 g a day);
from 13 to 15 years - 1,5 g on reception (3,0 g a day).
Deworming by means of Adipinata-Darnitsa Piperazin can be carried out also for 1 day: once from 0,4 to 4,0 g (depending on age) or twice for day (on 0,2-2,0 g on reception depending on age).
For treatment of an enterobiosis drug is appointed in the same doses, as at treatment of an ascaridosis, for 5 days in a row. Conduct 1-3 courses of therapy with a break in 7 days. In breaks between courses it is reasonable to give an enema for the night (for removal of pinworms from a rectum): the adult from 4-5 glasses of water, to children - from 1-3 glasses with addition of Natrii hydrocarbonas (1/2 teaspoons on a glass of water).

Features of use:

Treatment by Adipinatom-Darnitsa Piperazin can be carried out in out-patient conditions. Before drug use patients do not demand the previous preparation, and also should not adhere to a special diet.
Drug is accepted in 1 hour prior to food or in 1/2-1 hour after food. Purgatives are appointed only in case of tendency to a lock, give them in the evening, in days of reception of Adipinata-Darnitsa Piperazin.
During use of drug observe the high hygienic security.

Side effects:

Drug is usually well transferred also in 
therapeutic doses of side reactions does not cause. At exceeding of a dose nausea, an abdominal pain, the fast-passing headache can be observed. In some cases, in particular at a renal failure, emergence of a tremor, euphoria, hallucinations, deterioration in sight, muscular weakness, an incoordination, diarrhea, a spastic abdominal pain is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At a clinical use of cases of interaction with other drugs which would lead to reduction of efficiency and safety of use of medicines it is practically not known. There are observations that at use of Adipinata-Darnitsa Piperazin with aminazine emergence or strengthening of extrapyramidal disturbances is possible.

Contraindications:

Organic diseases of the central nervous system, nephrite.

Overdose:

At overdose muscular weakness, a tremor are observed. Patients with disturbance of secretory function of kidneys can have neurotoxic phenomena. In such cases it is necessary to wash out a stomach for removal of the possible remains of drug, to give salt laxative, absorbent carbon, to give an enema cleansing. Apply an oxygenotherapy, transfusion therapy with water loading and further purpose of saluretics. At emergence of neurologic disturbances intramusculary appoint thiamin a hydrochloride.

Storage conditions:

Store in unavailable to children, the dry place. A period of validity - 4 years.
