General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: pyridoxine hydrochloride of 10,0 mg.

Excipients: Dextrosums monohydrate (glucose) - 77,5 mg, cellulose microcrystallic - 10,0 mg, silicon dioxide colloid - 0,5 mg, calcium stearate - 1,0 mg, talc - 1,0 mg.




Pharmacological properties:

The pyridoxine (B6 vitamin), participates in a metabolism; it is necessary for normal functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system. Coming to an organism, it is phosphorylated, turns into piridoksal-5-phosphate and is a part of the enzymes which are carrying out decarboxylation and interamination of amino acids. Participates in exchange of tryptophane, methionine, cysteine, glutaminic and other amino acids. Plays an important role in exchange of a histamine. Contributes to normalization of lipidic exchange. Drug increases a diuresis and strengthens effect of diuretics. The isolated deficit of a pyridoxine occurs very seldom, mainly at the children who are on special artificial nutrition (it is shown by diarrhea, spasms, anemia, peripheral neuropathy can develop).

Pharmacokinetics. It is soaked up quickly throughout a small intestine, the bigger quantity is absorbed in a jejunum. It is metabolized in a liver with formation pharmacological of active metabolites (пиридоксаль phosphate and пиридоксаминофосфат). Piridoksal phosphate contacts proteins of plasma for 90%. Well gets into all fabrics; collects preferential in a liver, it is less — in muscles and the central nervous system. Gets through a placenta, cosecretes with breast milk. Elimination half-life of 15-20 days. It is removed by kidneys, and also during a hemodialysis.


Indications to use:

Treatment hypo - and B6 avitaminosis. In complex therapy:
— diseases of a nervous system (neuralgia, Menyer's syndrome);
— in dermatology (dermatitis, including atopic and seborrheal; shingles, neurodermatitises, psoriasis, exudative diathesis);
— sideroblastny anemia;
— acute and chronic hepatitises.


Route of administration and doses:

Inside (after food).
For prevention of B6 — a hypovitaminosis the adult — on 5 mg/days. Inside drug is accepted after food. Medical doses at intake make for adult 20-30 mg 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment makes 1-2 months. At use of an isoniazid, Ftivazidum or other derivatives of hydrazide of isonicotinic acid it is reasonable to appoint a pyridoxine on 5-10 mg a day preventively (for the prevention of disturbances of functions of the central nervous system). For treatment of sideroblastny anemia appoint in 100 mg daily. It is reasonable to accept at the same time folic acid, cyanocobalamine, Riboflavinum.


Features of use:

The need for vitamin of Wb is satisfied with food stuffs partially it is synthesized also by intestinal microflora.
The daily need for a pyridoxine for adults - 2-2 5 mg. For women - 2 mg and in addition at pregnancy of 0 3 mg, when feeding by a breast - 0 5 mg.
At severe damages of a liver the pyridoxine in high doses can cause deterioration in its function.
As a part of drug glucose contains what patients need to pay attention with a diabetes mellitus to.
When determining urobilinigen by means of Ehrlich's reagent can distort results.


Side effects:

Allergic reactions, increase in acidity of a gastric juice, pain in epigastric area, emergence of feeling of a prelum in extremities - a symptom of "stockings" and "gloves", decrease in a lactation are possible.


Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of diuretics, weakens activity of a levodopa.
Isonicotine hydrazide, Penicillaminum, Cycloserinum and estrogensoderzhashchy oral contraceptives weaken effect of a pyridoxine.
It is combined with cardiac glycosides (the pyridoxine promotes increase in synthesis of sokratitelny proteins in a myocardium), with glutaminic acid, and also potassium and magnesium asparaginate (asparkam).
The pyridoxine warns or reduces toxic manifestations, including damages of a liver which are observed at use of an isoniazid and other antitubercular drugs.


Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to the components which are a part of drug, children's age (for this dosage).
With care a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum (in connection with possible increase in acidity of a gastric juice), coronary heart disease, severe damages of a liver.

In this dosage it is not recommended to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
