Indometacin

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: indometacin - 5% or Indometacin - 10%
Excipients: макроголь 400, carbomer, propylene glycol, sodium benzoate, alcohol.

Indications to use:

Joint syndrome: joint rheumatism, acute and chronic rhematoid polyarthritis, osteoarthrosis, other arthritises and arthroses, Bekhterev's disease, gout; backbone pains, neuralgia, diskopathy, neuritis, plexitis, radiculitis; thrombophlebitis, lymphangitis; acute diseases and traumatic inflammation of soft tissues and musculoskeletal system; psoriasis arthritis.

Gel is rubbed a thin layer in sick body parts: 5% 3-4 once a day; 10% 2-3 once a day. The single dose for adults makes 4 - 5 eantimetr of the gel which is squeezed out from a tube, and for children - 2 - 2,5 eantimetr. The day dose should not exceed 20 eantimetr of 5% - a leg of gel or 15 centimeters of 10% - a gel leg for adults and 10 centimeters of 5% - a leg of gel or 7,5 centimeters of 10% - a gel leg for children.

Side effects:

At long use local side effects are possible: itch, reddening, rash.
It is necessary to report to the attending physician about all side (unusual) effects, including, not specified in a leaf insert!

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to indometacin, aspirin or other NPVS    (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs),  stomach ulcer and a duodenum in a phase of an aggravation, disturbance of coagulability of system of blood of not clear etiology, pregnancy and the period of feeding by a breast.

Preventions
Drug should be applied only on the unimpaired sites of skin. To avoid a gel popadeniye in eyes, mucous membranes and open wounds. At long treatment (more than 10 days) to check a blood picture (number of leukocytes and thrombocytes). Depending on medicine combinations (with antibiotics, anticoagulants, antidiabetic means and so forth) to exercise the corresponding clinical and laboratory control. It is not necessary to use drug at children up to 14 years without consultation of the doctor. It is necessary to be careful at simultaneous use of drug with other NPVS and at the patients having bronchial asthma.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from a direct sunlight place, at a temperature of 15-25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children! Period of validity 2 years. Not to use drug after the date specified on packaging.
