General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: dekvaliniya chloride of 250 mkg
Cinchocainum hydrochloride of 30 mkg

Excipients: sorbitol, talc, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid, peppermint extract, peppermint oil.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug with antimicrobic and mestnoanesteziruyushchy action for topical administration in the LOR-expert and stomatology. Декатилен™ renders antibacterial, antifungal, antiinflammatory and haemo static action.

Dekvaliniya chloride is active concerning gram-negative bacteria: Salmonella typhi, Salmonella typhimurium, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris, including gram-negative cocci: Neisseria catarrhalis, Neisseria meningitidis; gram-positive bacteria: Bacillus subtilis, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, including gram-positive cocci: Staphylococcus aureus (including penicillin - resistant strains), Streptococcus faecalis, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus salivarius; mushrooms: Actinomycetis, Candida albicans, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton verrucosum, and also Treponema vincentii (causative agent of quinsy of Simanovskogo-Plauta-Vensana).

Dibucainum the hydrochloride (Cinchocainum) has weak mestnoanesteziruyushchy effect, reducing pain at infections of an oral cavity and throat.

Dekatilen does not cause local irritation or allergic reaction.

Pharmacokinetics. Dekvaliniya chloride is absorbed in insignificant quantity.

Indications to use:

Topical treatment of acute inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat:

— catarral quinsy;

— lacunary quinsy (as supportive application);

— ulcer and filmy quinsy of Simanovskogo-Plauta-Vensana (as supportive application);

— pharyngitis;

— laryngitis;

— tonsillitis;

— aphthous stomacace;

— ulitis;

— candidiasis of an oral cavity and throat;

— states after a tonsilectomy, extractions of teeth;

— for elimination of an unpleasant smell from a mouth.

Route of administration and doses:

To adults and children from 12 years each 2 h, after reduction of symptoms of an inflammation - on 1 tablets each 4 h appoint 1 tablet.

To children 4 years are aged more senior each 3 h, after reduction of symptoms of an inflammation - on 1 tablets each 6 h appoint 1 tablet.

Tablets should be rassasyvat slowly, without chewing.

The maximum daily dose - 10-12 tablets during the acute period of a disease and then - on the 6th tablets before disappearance of symptoms of an inflammation. Duration of a course of treatment depends on time of disappearance of symptoms of an inflammation and makes, on average, from 5 to 6 days.

Features of use:

Considering that Dekatilen™ does not contain sugar, it can be applied at patients with a diabetes mellitus.

Use in pediatrics

Data on use of drug for children up to 4 years is absent.

Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms

Does not influence.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: sometimes - local reactions of hypersensitivity (rash, an itch).

Interaction with other medicines:

Antibacterial effect of the drug Dekatilen™ decreases at combined use with anionic detergents (for example, with toothpaste).

Interaction with other medicines is not described.

Contraindications:

— children's age up to 4 years;

— allergic reactions in the anamnesis to quarternary ammonium connections (for example, on a benzalkoniya chloride);

— hypersensitivity to a dekvaliniya to chloride, Dibucainum to a hydrochloride or to any other of drug components.

 

Use of the drug DEKATILEN™ at pregnancy and feeding by a breast

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible in case the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit or the child.

Overdose:

There is no information on cases of overdose.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
