General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: Ambroxol hydrochloride (Ambroxol) of 20 mg, trinatriyevy salt of glycyrrhizic acid (sodium glycyrrhizinate) 30 mg, thermopsis extract of dry 10 mg, Natrii hydrocarbonas of 200 mg.
Excipients: potato starch, cellulose microcrystallic, K25 povidone (коллидон K25), talc, stearic acid, sodium carboxymethylstarch (starch of sodium glikolit, примоджель).

Pharmacological properties:

The combined drug for treatment of cough, has mucolytic and expectorant effect, and also has antiinflammatory activity. Action ^{of Kodelak®} of Bronkho is caused by pharmacological properties of his components:

Ambroxol possesses sekretomotorny, sekretolitichesky and expectorant action, normalizes the broken ratio of serous and mucous components of a phlegm, increases secretion of surfactant in alveoluses. Reduces viscosity of a phlegm and promotes its otkhozhdeniye.

Glitsirrat (glycyrrhizic acid and its salts) possesses antiinflammatory and antiviral action. Has cytoprotective effect thanks to antioxidant and membranstabiliziruyushchy activity. Exponentiates action of endogenous glucocorticosteroids, having antiinflammatory and antiallergic effect. Thanks to the expressed antiinflammatory activity, promotes reduction of inflammatory process in respiratory tracts.

Extract of a thermopsis possesses expectorant action, rendering moderate irritant action on receptors of a mucous membrane of a stomach, reflex increases secretion of bronchial glands.

Natrii hydrocarbonas shifts an environment indicator (рН) of bronchial slime in the alkaline party, reduces viscosity of a phlegm, stimulates motor function of a ciliary epithelium and bronchioles.

Indications to use:

Respiratory diseases with difficulty of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm: acute and chronic bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), bronchoectatic disease.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, during meal.
To adults and children 12 years on 1 tablet 3 times a day are more senior.
It is not recommended to apply without medical appointment more than 4-5 days.

Features of use:

Not to combine with antibechics.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.
Seldom – weakness, a headache, diarrhea, dryness in a mouth and airways, a dieback, a rhinorrhea, a lock, a dysuria. At long reception in high doses - a gastralgia, nausea, vomiting.

Interaction with other medicines:

Combined use with antibechic medicines leads to difficulty of an otkhozhdeniye of a phlegm against the background of reduction of cough.
Drug increases penetration into a bronchial secret of antibiotics.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, pregnancy, the lactation period, children's age up to 12 years.

With care: liver and/or renal failure, peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-tiperstny gut, bronchial asthma.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dyspepsia.
The symptomatic treatment, gastric lavage is reasonable in the first 1-2 hours after administration of drug.
