Gentamycin

Activity of an antibiotic decreases in the presence of cations of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, and also a number of anions (sulfates, phosphates, nitrates).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug, heavy renal failures. Use of drug is contraindicated at diseases of an acoustical nerve, vestibular mechanism, during pregnancy.

Overdose:

Repeated (over 5 times) daily instillations of drug within a week result in puffiness of a stroma of a cornea.
