General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 160 mg of paracetamol.

Excipients: a dextrose, sucrose, Mannitolum, citric acid, sodium saccharin, aspartame, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, povidone, magnesium the stearate, talc purified, silicon dioxide colloid dehydrated, essence of a malinyananas, menthol, color: tartrazine color (yellowish), erythrosine color (reddish), starch corn.

The drug possessing anesthetic, febrifugal, antiinflammatory action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Paracetamol has anesthetics, febrifugal and antiinflammatory properties. The mechanism of analgesic effect of paracetamol connected with suppression of biosynthesis of prostaglandins. Inhibiting cyclogenesis, he prevents formations of E2 and F2 prostaglandins which play an important role at perception of irritations of receptors and transfers of excitement of TsNS.

Paracetamol effectively inhibits cyclooxygenase in cells of TsNS and is much weaker in peripheral fabrics. The antipyretic effect of paracetamol connected with suppression of biosynthesis of prostaglandins directly in a hypothalamus which are mediators of the center of thermal control.

Pharmacokinetics. The pharmacokinetics of paracetamol is characterized bystry and full by absorption in a digestive tract, hypodispersion in fabrics, a short elimination half-life. Indications to use:

Pain syndrome of moderate and average intensity of a different origin (headache, migraine, dentagra, neuralgia, mialgiya, альгодисменорея; pain which resulted from an injury, a burn and for the others of conditions), temperature at an inflammation owing to infectious diseases.

Route of administration and doses:

The maximum daily dose for children should not exceed 60 mg on kilogram of body weight. The average therapeutic dose makes 20 - 30 mg on kilogram of body weight a day. The dose of drug is selected taking into account age and the child's weight; any from the doses of drug provided below it is possible to accept repeatedly every 6 hours. To children age from 3 to 6 years – po160 mg 3 - 4 times a day (on 1 chewable tablet 3 - 4 times a day). To children age from 6 to 8 years – on 320 mg 3 - 4 times a day (on 2 chewable tablets 3-4 times a day). To children age from 8 do12 years – on 480 mg 3 - 4 times a day (on 3 chewable tablets 3-4 times a day). The tablet is recommended to be chewed.

Features of use:

At prolonged use of drug monitoring of system of a hemopoiesis and condition of a liver and kidneys is necessary each 10 days.

Side effects:

In case of long reception of paracetamol, especially high doses, toxic action on kidneys and a liver is shown. The methemoglobinemia is not expected. Allergic reactions are possible at individual hypersensitivity to drug.

Interaction with other medicines:

Caffeine can strengthen analgetic effect of paracetamol.

Paracetamol can strengthen direct effect of anticoagulants of derivatives of coumarin and an indole.

At simultaneous use with barbiturates, rifampicin, phenobarbital, alcohol the risk of a hepatotoxic action considerably increases.

It is necessary to be careful at simultaneous use of drug together with other means which contain paracetamol.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol. Dysfunction of a liver and kidneys, diabetes, blood diseases, first trimester of pregnancy. Children's age up to 3 years.

Storage conditions:
