General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 100 g of glucose in terms of anhydrous, 0,26 g of sodium of chloride.
Excipients: acid solution хлористо hydrogen 0,1 M to рН 3,0 - 4,1, water for injections to 1000 ml.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Glucose strengthens oxidation-reduction processes in an organism, improves anti-toxic function of a liver, strengthens sokratitelny activity of a cardiac muscle, covers a part of power expenses which at a number of morbid conditions go at the expense of organism stocks. Glucose solution quickly fills water shortage.
Strong solution of glucose (10%) renders the expressed osmotic effect thanks to which the osmotic pressure of blood increases, liquid current from fabrics in blood amplifies, vessels extend, the diuresis amplifies.
Indications to use:
Solution of glucose of 5% is applied to completion of volume of liquid at cellular and general dehydration, at an extracellular overhydratation. Glucose solution (10%) is used at a hypoglycemia and diseases of a liver (hepatitises, cirrhoses, a hepatic coma), for osmotherapy at an emuresis, a collapse and shock, at serious infectious diseases, a decompensation of cordial activity, various intoxications (poisonings with drugs, cyanides, carbon monoxide, etc.), at hemorrhagic diathesis, for parenteral food. Solutions of glucose can be applied as independently, and according to indications in combination with other medicinal substances (sodium chloride, potassium chloride, NAEDTA, etc.), and also to be used for cultivation of medicines.
Route of administration and doses:
Isotonic solution of glucose (5%) is entered under skin (300 - 500 ml), into a vein (kapelno) and into a rectum (in enemas, kapelno) by from 300 to 2000 ml of solution a day. In cases of sharp dehydration of an organism introduction of 3 - 5 l of isotonic solution of glucose in days is possible. Hypertonic salt solution of glucose (10%) is entered only into a vein on 10 - 50 ml once or kapelno to 300 ml a day. If necessary introduction of large volumes of hypertonic salt solution of glucose is allowed. For fuller digestion of the glucose entered in large numbers at the same time appoint insulin from calculation: 1 unit of insulin on 4 - 5 g of glucose. Sick diabetes glucose is entered with care, under control of content of sugar in blood and urine.
Features of use:
At long intravenous use of drug control of level of sugar in blood is necessary. At repeated administration of solution disturbances of a functional condition of a liver and exhaustion of the insulyarny device of a pancreas are possible.
Interaction with other medicines:
Acidum hydrochloricum is a part of drug. Thus, drug cannot be solvent for drugs which are destabilized in an acid rn.
Contraindications:
Relative contraindication is the diabetes mellitus. Hyperglycemia.
Overdose:
Development of a hyperglycemia and overhydratation is possible. At the same time at patients the xeroderma and mucous membranes is observed, undervoltage of an eyeglobe, acetone inodorous frequent shallow breathing, tachycardia, arrhythmia, are possible a loss of consciousness, fervescence.
In case of overdose of drug appoint symptomatic treatment and administration of drugs of usual insulin a dose of 0,1 PIECES/kg intramusculary or intravenously.
Storage conditions:
At a temperature from +5 to +30 °C. Freezing of drug on condition of preservation of tightness of a bottle is not a contraindication to its use. Period of validity 2 years.
Issue conditions:
According to the recipe
