Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug compensates insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas.
Pancreatinum — the powder of a pancreas of a pig containing enzymes: lipase, alpha amylase, trypsin, chymotrypsin, etc.
The lipase chips off fatty acids on positions 1 and 3 of molecules of triglycerides.
The free fatty acids which are formed at this splitting are soaked up, mainly, in an upper part of a small intestine with the participation of bile acids.
Trypsin is formed of trypsinogen under the influence of enterokinase in a small intestine and as the endopeptidase, splits, generally bonds between peptides with the participation of a lysine and arginine.
According to results of the last clinical trials, trypsin inhibits secretion of a pancreas on a negative feedback mechanism.
Believe that the soothing effect of Pancreatinum described in some researches is connected with it.
Alpha amylase, as well as endoamylase, splits the polysaccharides containing glucose.
Dimetikon who is a part of Pankreoflata® eliminates the increased accumulation of gas in a small intestine.
Dimetikon — chemically inert substance. The mechanism of its action is based on change of surface intention of vials of gas in intestines. Vials of gas burst also the gas which is in them is released then it is soaked up or removed in the natural way.

Pharmacokinetics. Pancreatinum and диметикон are not soaked up from a GIT.

Indications to use:

- dysfunction of a pancreas (insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function), for example chronic inflammatory diseases of a pancreas (pancreatitis) or lack of a gastric juice (stomach akhiliya);
- disturbance of digestion in case of diseases of a liver and biliary tract;
- disturbance of digestion after stomach and small intestine operations, especially, if these diseases are connected with the increased gas generation and accumulation of gases in intestines (meteorism).

Route of administration and doses:

Inside, without chewing, washing down with enough liquid, in time or after food.
The adult — according to 1–2 tab. with each meal. To children aged from 12 years the mode of dosing is selected individually attending physician.
Duration of a course of treatment is defined by the doctor.

Features of use:

Панкреофлат® contains active enzymes which in case of their release in an oral cavity, can lead to an ulceration of a mucous membrane. Drug should be swallowed entirely, without chewing, with enough liquid.

Side effects:

From integuments: allergic reactions in case of intolerance of any component of drug are possible.

From the alimentary system: abdominal pains, discomfort in a stomach, a lock, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, a hyper uricosuria, increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma.

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing aluminum hydroxide and/or magnesium a carbonate can lead to decrease in efficiency of a dimetikon. Cases of clinically significant interaction of Pancreatinum with other HP were not noted.

Use of Pankreoflata® does not exert impact on the psychomotor functions connected with driving of the car or control of cars and mechanisms.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to Pancreatinum or other components of drug;
- children's age up to 12 years.

With care:
- early stages of acute pancreatitis;
- exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis;
- intolerance of a galactose;
- lactose intolerance;
- glucose galactose absorption disturbances.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
There are no data on toxic action on reproductive function and fetation. However it is necessary to be careful at purpose of drug at pregnant women and the feeding women.

Overdose:

There is no information on possible symptoms of overdose of Pancreatinum / диметикона. At prolonged use of drug in high doses development of a hyper uricosuria, increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma are possible.

Storage conditions:

In the dry place, at a temperature not above 20 °C.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.
