General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 1 g of Clotrimazolum in 100 g of ointment.
Excipients: castor oil, methyl cellulose water-soluble, the monoglycerides distilled, propylene glycol, emulsifier, нипагин, succinic acid, Natrium benzoicum, the water purified.
Клотримазол-Акри® is antifungal broad-spectrum agent for topical administration.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. The anti-mycotic effect of active active ingredient of Clotrimazolum (derivative an imidazole) is connected with disturbance of synthesis of the ergosterol which is a part of a cellular membrane of mushrooms that changes permeability of a membrane and causes the subsequent lysis of a cell.
Клотримазол-Акри® it is effective concerning dermatophytes, drozhzhepodobny and mold mushrooms, and also the activator multi-colored depriving (Pityriasis versicolor) and the activator of an erythrasma. Клотримазол-Акри® has antimicrobic effect concerning gram-positive (staphylococcus, streptococci) and gram-negative bacteria (Bacteroides, Gardnerella vaginalis), an also concerning Trichomonas vaginalis, Corynebacterium minutissimum.
Indications to use:
- the fungal infections of skin and mucous membranes caused by dermatophytes, drozhzhepodobny and mold mushrooms, and also the activators sensitive to Clotrimazolum;
- chromophytosis, erythrasma;
- the mycoses complicated by a secondary pyoderma.
Route of administration and doses:
In the absence of other appointments 2-3 times a day a thin layer on previously cleared and dry affected areas of skin are recommended to apply ointment. Regular use of ointment is important for successful treatment.
Duration of therapy is individual and depends on weight and localization of a disease. For achievement of an absolute recovery it is not necessary to stop treatment by ointment at once after disappearance of acute symptoms of an inflammation or subjective complaints. Duration of therapy has to average about 4 weeks.
The chromophytosis recovers, generally within 1-3 weeks, and an erythrasma within 2-4 weeks.
At fungus diseases of skin of legs it is recommended to continue therapy about 2 weeks after stopping of symptoms of a disease.
Features of use:
If in 4 weeks from an initiation of treatment clinical improvement is not noted, it is necessary to conduct a microbiological research for confirmation of the diagnosis and an exception of other cause of illness.
If hypersensitivity or irritation at drug use develops, treatment it is necessary to stop and pick up other therapy. Putting drug on skin in eyes is not recommended.
Use during pregnancy and during feeding by a breast. At clinical and pilot studies it was not established that use of Klotrimazola-Akri® during pregnancy or during feeding by a breast exerts negative impact on health of the woman or a fruit (child). However, the issue of expediency of purpose of drug has to be resolved individually after consultation of the doctor.
Drawing Klotrimazola-Akri® directly on a mammary gland when breastfeeding is contraindicated.
Side effects:
Local allergic reactions are in rare instances observed (reddening, burning, an itch, a pricking in drug sites of application).
Interaction with other medicines:
At topical administration of drug negative interactions with other medicines are unknown.
At simultaneous use with nystatin activity of drug can decrease.
Contraindications:
Клотримазол-Акри® it is impossible to apply with hypersensitivity to Clotrimazolum or excipients.
Storage conditions:
In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature from 12 °C to 15 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Not to use after a period of validity. A period of validity - 3 years.
