General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: аминодигидрофталазиндион sodium of 50 mg

Excipients: витепсол W-35 (glycerides of fatty acids), витепсол N-15 (glycerides of fatty acids).

Pharmacological properties:

Immunomodulatory drug with antiinflammatory action.

The mechanism of action is connected with ability to influence functional and metabolic activity of macrophages. At inflammatory diseases reversibly (on 6-8 h) inhibits excess synthesis of a factor of a necrosis of tumors, interleykina-1 and other pro-inflammatory cytokines, active forms of oxygen the hyper elicited macrophages defining extent of inflammatory reactions, their recurrence, and also expressiveness of intoxication. Normalization of a functional condition of macrophages leads to recovery of the antigen presenting and regulating function of macrophages, decrease in level of an autoaggression.
Drug stimulates bactericidal activity of neutrocytes, strengthening phagocytosis and increasing nonspecific resistance of an organism to infectious diseases.
The main pharmacological effects are observed during 72 h.

Pharmacokinetics. It is brought out of an organism, generally by kidneys. At hypoglossal use of T1/2 makes 30 min.

Indications to use:

As an immunomodulator and anti-inflammatory drug in complex therapy at children at the age of 6-12 years:
— the infectious intestinal diseases which are followed by intoxication and/or diarrhea;
— peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum;
— viral hepatitis;
— the chronic recurrent diseases caused by a herpes virus;
— the diseases caused by the virus of papilloma of the person (VPP);
— purulent surgical diseases (burn defeats, a recurrent furunculosis, chronic osteomyelitis, gangrenous appendicitis with an omentitis, peritonitis, purulent pleurisy);
— asthenic states, neurotic and somatoformny frustration, decrease in physical effeciency;
— postoperative it is purulent - septic complications and their prevention (including at oncological patients);
— treatment and prevention of urogenital infections of a bacterial and virus etiology;
— inflammatory diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity and throat, disease of a parodont;
— frequent recurrent respiratory diseases and ENT organs of a bacterial and virus etiology (frequent SARS, bronchitis, pneumonia, adenoid disease, chronic otitis, chronic adenoiditis);
— prevention of flu and acute respiratory infections.

Route of administration and doses:

For prevention of flu and acute respiratory infections on 50 mg (1 soup.) once a day. A course — the 5th soup.

At the acute infectious intestinal diseases which are followed by a diarrheal syndrome: an initial dose — the 2nd soup. on 50 mg once, then on 1 soup. 2 times a day before stopping of symptoms of intoxication. The subsequent continuation of a course on 1 soup is possible. with an interval of 72 h. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum: in the acute period — 2 days on the 2nd soup. once a day, then on 1 soup. with an interval of 72 h. A course — 15–25 soup. In the chronic period — 5 days on 1 soup. once a day, then on 1 soup. in 72 h. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At a viral hepatitis: an initial dose — the 2nd soup. once, then on 1 soup. 2 times a day before stopping of symptoms of intoxication and an inflammation. The subsequent continuation of a course — on 1 soup. with an interval of 72 h. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At the chronic recurrent diseases caused by a herpes virus — on 1 soup. daily within 5 days, then on 1 soup. every other day — the 15th soup. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At the diseases caused by a papilloma virus: 5 days on 1 soup. once a day, then on 1 soup. every other day. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At purulent surgical diseases (burn defeats, a recurrent furunculosis, chronic osteomyelitis, gangrenous appendicitis with an omentitis, purulent pleurisy): on 1 soup. daily — 5 days, then on 1 soup. every other day within 10 days. A course — the 15th soup. on 50 mg.

At asthenic states, neurotic and somatoformny frustration: 5 days on 1 soup. daily, then on 1 soup. in 72 h. A course — the 15th soup. on 50 mg. For increase in physical effeciency: on 1 soup. every other day a course — the 5th soup. on 50 mg.

For prevention and treatment of surgical complications in to - and the postoperative period (including at oncological patients): on 1 soup. once a day — the 5th soup. before operation, 5 — after operation on 1 soup. every other day and 5th soup. c interval of 72 h. At a severe disease an initial dose — the 2nd soup. once or 2 times a day on 1 soup. A course — the 20th soup. on 50 mg.

At treatment and prevention of urogenital infections of a bacterial and virus etiology: 1 day on 1 soup. 2 times a day, then on 1 soup. every other day. A course — 10–15 soup. on 50 mg (depending on weight of pathological process).

At inflammatory diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity and throat, diseases of a parodont: an initial dose — on 1 soup. daily — the 5th soup., then on 1 soup. with an interval of 72 h. A course — the 15th soup. on 50 mg.

At frequent recurrent respiratory diseases and ENT organs of a bacterial and virus etiology (frequent SARS, bronchitis, pneumonia, adenoid disease, chronic otitis, chronic adenoiditis): on 1 soup. daily within 5 days, then on 1 soup. every other day within 10 days. A course — the 15th soup. on 50 mg.

Features of use:

At simultaneous use with the drug Galavit® decrease in course doses of antibiotics is possible.

Side effects:

Seldom: allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Cases of incompatibility with other medicines are noted.

Contraindications:

— children's age up to 6 years;
— individual intolerance.
