Pharmacological properties:

Drug represents a vitamin and mineral complex with antioxidants. Contains 11 vitamins and 9 minerals.

Compatibility of components in one tablet is provided with the special production technology of vitamin and mineral complexes.

Pharmacological effect of drug is caused by properties of the vitamins and minerals which are its part (including, possessing antioxidant action).

Retinolum acetate - provides normal function of skin, mucous membranes, and also

sight function.

a - Tocopherol acetate - has antioxidant properties, maintains stability of erythrocytes, prevents hemolysis; exerts positive impact on functions of gonads, nervous and muscular tissue.

Thiamin the hydrochloride - as coenzyme participates in carbohydrate metabolism, functioning of a nervous system.

Riboflavinum - the most important catalyst of processes of cellular respiration and visual perception.

Pyridoxine the hydrochloride - as coenzyme takes part in protein metabolism and synthesis of neurotransmitters.

Ascorbic acid - provides collagen synthesis; participates in formation and maintenance of structure and function of cartilages, bones, teeth; influences formation of hemoglobin, maturing of erythrocytes.

Niacinamide - participates in processes of tissue respiration, fatty and carbohydrate metabolism.

Folic acid - takes part in synthesis of amino acids, nucleotides, nucleic acids; it is necessary for a normal erythrogenesis.

Rutoside - participates in oxidation-reduction processes, has antioxidant properties, promotes deposition of ascorbic acid in fabrics.

Calcium pantothenate - as a component of coenzyme A participates in processes of acetylation and oxidation; promotes creation, regeneration of an epithelium and an endothelium.

Cyanocobalamine - participates in synthesis of nucleotides, is an important factor of normal growth, a hemopoiesis and development of epithelial cells; it is necessary for metabolism of folic acid and synthesis of a myelin.

Lipoic acid - participates in regulation of lipidic and carbohydrate exchanges, renders lipotropic effect, influences cholesterol exchange, improves function of a liver.

Methionine - has metabolic, hepatoprotective, antioxidant effect. Participates in exchange of many biologically important connections, activates effect of hormones, vitamins, enzymes, proteins.

Iron - participates in an erythrogenesis, as a part of hemoglobin provides oxygen transport in fabric.

Cobalt - regulates metabolic processes, increases protective forces of an organism.

Calcium - is necessary for formation of bone substance, a blood coagulation, implementation of process of transfer of nervous impulses, reduction of skeletal and unstriated muscles, normal activity of a myocardium.

Copper – warns anemia and air hunger of bodies and fabrics, promotes prevention of osteoporosis. Strengthens walls of vessels.

Zinc – participates in metabolism of nucleic acids, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fatty acids and hormones.

Magnesium – normalizes arterial pressure, has the calming effect, stimulates development of a calcitonin and parathyroid hormone together with calcium, prevents formation of stones in kidneys.

Phosphorus - strengthens a bone tissue and teeth, strengthens a mineralization, is a part of ATP - an energy source of cells.

Manganese - influences development of a bone tissue, participates in tissue respiration, immune responses.

Selenium - has antioxidant effect, reduces impact on an organism of external negative factors (adverse ecology, stresses, smoking, chemical carcinogens, radiation), capable to strengthen education of free radicals.

Indications to use:

Selmevit it is intended to adults and children 12 years are more senior.
Drug is recommended:
· Prevention and treatment of a vitamin mineral deficiency (especially in ecological adverse and selenium - scarce areas).
· The raised exercise and intellectual stresses.
· Increase in body resistance to stressful situations and adverse environmental factors.
· The recovery period after injuries, operations, exacerbations of chronic diseases.

Route of administration and doses:

Before an initiation of treatment it is necessary to consult with the doctor.
Inside after food. Duration of a course of treatment is defined by the doctor.
To adults and children 12 years for the purpose of prevention of a vitamin mineral deficiency on 1 tablet a day are more senior.
For completion of a vitamin deficiency and mineral substances, at hard mental or physical activity, stresses about 1 tablet 2 times a day is recommended.

Features of use:

It is not recommended to accept at the same time other drugs containing in the structure polyvitamins with microelements and to exceed the recommended daily dose.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions to drug components.

Interaction with other medicines:

Ascorbic acid increases concentration in blood of salicylates, ethinylestradiol,
benzylpenicillin and tetracyclines; reduces concentration of oral contraceptives; reduces anticoagulating effect of derivatives of coumarin.
Calcium drugs, Colestyraminum, Neomycinum reduce acetate Retinolum absorption.
a - acetate strengthens effect of cardiac glycosides, steroid and nonsteroid antiinflammatory diseases.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. Children's age up to 12 years.

There are no data.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Tablets are coated.
On 30 or 60 tablets in bank of polymeric. Each can is fitted a tube thermoshrinkable.
On 10 tablets in a blister strip packaging.
Each can or 3 blister strip packagings are placed in a pack from an import cardboard together with the instruction on a medical use.
