Indications to use:
The bacterial infections of an eye caused by sensitive microflora: conjunctivitis, a keratitis, a blepharitis, blefarokonjyunktivit, a keratoconjunctivitis, a neuroparalytic keratitis in the presence of a consecutive bacterial infection.
Route of administration and doses:
Locally. To adults and children dig in in a conjunctival sac on 1 drop 3-4 times a day. Drug is used by no more than 10 days. Extension of a course of treatment is possible only on doctor's orders.

Interaction with other medicines:
Simultaneous use with the medicines oppressing a hemopoiesis (streptocides, cytostatics), influencing a metabolism in a liver; with radiation therapy increases risk of development of side effect. At simultaneous use with erythromycin, clindamycin, lincomycin mutual weakening of action is noted because chloramphenicol can interfere with their linkng with subunit 50S of bacterial ribosomes. Reduces antibacterial effect of penicillin and cephalosporins.
Contraindications:
Levomycetinum is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol, a tiamfenikol, an azidamfenikol, oppression of a marrowy hemopoiesis, acute intermittent porphyria, deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy, a renal and/or liver failure, pregnancy, in the period of a lactation, in the period of a neonatality (to 4 weeks).

Drops eye 0,25 %. On 5 ml or 10 ml in a bottle - droppers polymeric with a screw mouth, a stopper dropper and the screwed cover with control of the first opening. 1 bottle dropper polymeric together with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard.
