General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: Pancreatinum that sootvetstvuyut the minimum activity: 4200 PIECES of FIP of amylase, 3200 PIECES of FIP of a lipase, 250 PIECES of FIP of protease.

Excipients: microcrystallic cellulose, aerosil, sodium starch glikolit, magnesium stearate, Eudragit E-100, polyethyleneglycol 6000, citric acid, propylene glycol, a liquid paraffin, carmoisin, indigo carmine, gidroksipro-a pilmetiltsellyuloza, Opadry PINK.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug compensates insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas.

The enzymes which are a part of Pancreatinum amylase, a lipase and protease facilitate digestion of carbohydrates, fats and proteins that promotes their fuller absorption in a small intestine.

Indications to use:

Insufficiency of vneshnesekretorny function of a pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, mucoviscidosis and so forth).

Chronic inflammatory and dystrophic diseases of a stomach, intestines, liver, gall bladder; a state after a resection or radiation of these bodies, followed by disturbances of digestion of food, a meteorism, diarrhea (as a part of a combination therapy).

For improvement of digestion of food at patients with normal function of digestive tract in case of errors in food.

Preparation for radiological and ultrasonic researches of abdominal organs.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is accepted inside, without chewing, in time or after food.

Adults: on 2-5 tablets 3-4 times a day.

At children drug is used on doctor's orders. To children at the age of 6-7 years appoint on 1 tablet, 8-9 years - 1-2 tablets, 10-14 years - on 2 tablets 4 times a day.

Duration of treatment can vary of several days (at disturbance of digestion owing to errors in a diet) up to several months or years (in need of continuous replacement therapy).

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation. Safety of use of Pancreatinum during pregnancy is studied insufficiently. Use is possible in cases when the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit. It is unknown whether Pancreatinum with breast milk therefore use in the period of a lactation is not recommended is allocated.

The dose has to be adequate to amount of enzymes which is necessary for absorption of fats taking into account quality and amount of the consumed food.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions. In some cases - diarrhea, a lock, a sensation of discomfort in a stomach, nausea (relationship of cause and effect of development of these reactions is not established with action of Pancreatinum. Since the specified phenomena belong to symptoms of vneshnesekretorny insufficiency of a pancreas).

At prolonged use in high doses development of a hyper uricosuria, increase in level of uric acid in a blood plasma are possible.

At use of Pancreatinum in high doses at children emergence of perianal irritation and irritation of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity is possible.

At a mucoviscidosis use of Pancreatinum in high doses owing to increase in risk of development of strictures (a fibrous colonopathy) in ileocecal department and in the ascending colon at patients is not recommended.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of Pancreatinum with iron preparations decrease in absorption of the last is possible.

Simultaneous use of the antiacid means containing calcium a carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide can lead to decrease in efficiency of Pancreatinum.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, acute pancreatitis, an exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis.

With care. Mucoviscidosis.

Overdose:

Symptoms: hyper uricosuria, hyperuricemia. Children have a lock. Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

List B. In dry, protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
