This inflammation of a mucous membrane of a nose of bacterial genesis, both specific, and nonspecific.
Symptoms of Bacterial rhinitis:
Symptoms of bacterial rhinitis – a congestion of a nose, allocation from a nose, sneezing. Rhinitis begins quickly with the general aggravation of symptoms of the patient: body temperature increases, there is a headache, nasal breath worsens, sense of smell goes down that is caused by distribution of inflammatory process on olfactory area. The patient notes a burning sensation, tickling and a scratching in a nasal cavity. Then there is a discharge at the expense of the liquid transuding from vessels and strengthenings of function of mucous glands. This discharge renders irritant action, especially at children, on skin of a vestibule of the nose and an upper lip, shown in the form of redness and painful cracks. Nasal breath at the expense of hypostasis of nasal sinks is broken. Dacryagogue at the expense of irritation of sensitive reflexogenic zones of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity, sneezing is characteristic. Hypostasis of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity leads to disturbance of a drainage of adnexal bosoms of a nose and middle ear that creates favorable conditions for activation of conditional and disease-producing flora and promotes development of bacterial complications. Later character separated from a nasal cavity changes, it becomes muddy, then yellowish and greenish. It is caused by availability of pus in it.
Reasons of Bacterial rhinitis:
On an etiology bakteriany rhinitis can bytpetsifichesky and nonspecific (gonorrheal, meningococcal, listeriozny, diphtheritic, scarlatinal, yersinia, etc.). From bacteria in a nose Staphylococcus aureus most often is found.
Treatment of Bacterial rhinitis:
- salt souls — 1/2 teaspoons of salt and a pinch of baking soda are added to a cup of water;
- irrigation of a nasal cavity normal saline solution of sodium chloride;
- topical administration of ointment of a mupirotsin (baktroban) twice a day within one week and daily before going to bed within two weeks.
