Intrauterine partition - a malformation of a uterus at which the cavity of the uterus is divided into two half by a partition of various length. Patients with an intrauterine partition make 48-55% of all women with malformations of generative organs.
Symptoms of an intrauterine partition:
Women with a partition in a uterus suffer generally from not incubation of pregnancy and are more rare infertility. In the I trimester of pregnancy the risk of a spontaneous abortion at patients with a partition in a uterus makes 28-60%, in the II trimester - about 5%. Patients to an intrauterine partition have premature births, disturbances of sokratitelny ability of a uterus in labor, the wrong provision of a fruit is noted. Reasons of negative influence of a partition on the course of pregnancy:
the insufficient volume of a cavity of the uterus, partition hampers the growth of a fruit;
istmiko-cervical insufficiency which is quite often combined with a uterus partition;
implantation of an embryo on an avascular partition which is not capable to keep adequate development of an embryo.
To bowl these disturbances arise at a full partition in a uterus.
The dysmenorrhea and pathological uterine bleedings often occur at patients with a partition in a uterus.
About 50% of women with an intrauterine partition are capable to conception and incubation of pregnancy, the uterus malformation at them comes to light accidentally at inspection concerning other disease.
As a rule, the partition in a uterus is diagnosed or at inspection of the patient with not incubation of pregnancy (metrosalpingografiya), or at a scraping of a mucous membrane of a uterus at which there can be a suspicion on anomaly of development. In clinical practice for diagnosis of an intrauterine partition use various methods of a research.
Gisterosalpingografiya allows to define only internal contours of a cavity of the uterus, outside contours are not visible, the mistake in defect identification of species is possible. Diagnostic accuracy of a gisterosalpingografiya in diagnosis of a type of a malformation of a uterus makes 50%.
Ultrasonic devices with the three-dimensional image allow to diagnose an intrauterine partition with the maximum accuracy (91-95%).
When performing ultrasonography of a uterus at patients with suspicion on an intrauterine partition inspection of kidneys is necessary for an exception of anomalies of development.
Endoscopic methods of a research. The most complete information about the nature of a malformation of a uterus can be obtained at a combination of hysteroscopy and a laparoscopy.
Hysteroscopy is used both for specification of a form of defect, and for its surgical correction.
Additional methods of a research. High informational content in diagnosis of malformations of a uterus the magnetic and resonant tomography and a spiral X-ray-computer tomography have. Their use is reasonable for specification of the diagnosis in difficult cases at an inspection stage, it allows to avoid use of invasive diagnostic methods.
Treatment of an intrauterine partition:
Surgical treatment of an intrauterine partition, according to many authors, has to be carried out only in cases of the expressed disturbance of reproductive function. According to others, at once after identification of an intrauterine partition the patient needs to offer metroplasty, without waiting for possible complications.
