Tserebrolizat

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 ml of a hydrolyzate of a brain of cattle in 1 ampoule.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Tserebrolizat - drug of brain fabric, contains amino acids and biologically active peptides which get through a blood-brain barrier and directly arrive to nervous cells.

Tserebrolizat improves metabolic processes in brain cells, activates protein synthesis in neurons, increases resistance of tissue of brain to intoxication, a hypoxia, a hypoglycemia; improves a condition of mechanisms of regulation and bioelectric activity of a brain, raises reserve compensatory opportunities of a brain hemodynamics. All this leads to reduction of expressiveness of neurologic deficit.

Indications to use:

— as a part of complex therapy of cerebrovascular insufficiency (distsirkulyatorny encephalopathy;

— ischemic stroke (acute phase and stage of rehabilitation);

— a state after a hemorrhagic stroke;

— traumatic damage of a brain (concussion, a craniocereberal injury, a state after surgical intervention on a brain);

— encephalopathies of various genesis;

— myelipathies;

— neuropathy;

— radiculopathies of various genesis (infectious, toxic, traumatic);

— cerebral palsy;

— decrease in concentration of attention at children.

Route of administration and doses:

About 1-5 ml daily or every other day are entered intramusculary. Course of treatment of 20 injections.

After 3-6 monthly breaks treatment tserebrolizaty can be repeated (after consultation with the doctor).

In neuropediatric practice - intramusculary, on 1-2 ml (to 1 ml on 10 kg of body weight) within 10-15 days, with repetition of a course 2-3 times a year.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. It is contraindicated at pregnancy. With care: drug is appointed in the period of a lactation.

Use at renal failures. It is contraindicated at the expressed renal failures.

Special instructions. With care it is necessary to appoint drug at allergic diathesis, epilepsy.

Side effects:

Drug injections in some cases cause local morbidity, irritation, a hyperemia.

Allergic reactions, increase in the ABP (are possible at the accompanying arterial hypertension).

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of a tserebrolizat with antidepressants can cause strengthening of their action.

Contraindications:

— the expressed renal failures;

— epileptic status;

— pregnancy;

— hypersensitivity.

With care: drug is appointed in the period of a lactation.

Overdose:

Now about cases of overdose of drug it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

List B. To store in protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 20 °C. A period of validity - 3 years.
