General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: sodium chloride;

1 ml of solution contains sodium of chloride 6,5 mg;

excipients: sodium dihydrophosphate, dihydrate; sodium hydrophosphate, dodecahydrate; benzyl alcohol; benzalkoniya chloride; water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Sodium chloride is effective osmotically active remedy. In hypotonic salt solution of sodium of chloride osmolarity is lower, than at body liquids. Therefore the solution entered into a nasal cavity increases hydration of a mucosal surface of a cover of a nose and contents of a nasal cavity that promotes moistening of a mucous membrane, to fluidifying of dense slime, a softening of dry crusts in a nose and facilitates their removal.

Indications to use:

As a part of complex treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of a nasopharynx, adnexal bosoms and nasal cavity of a different etiology;
prevention of infectious diseases of a nose and nasopharynx during the autumn and winter period;
preparation for introduction to a nasal cavity of other medicines (for improvement of their absorption);
treatment during the postoperative period after interventions in a nasal cavity;
daily hygiene of a nasal cavity for preservation of protective qualities of a mucous membrane in the conditions of the increased dryness or air pollution (conditioning, central heating, smoke of the room, etc.).

Route of administration and doses:

Drops are nasal. The adult – on 2 drops; to children aged from 1 year – on 1-2 drops; to children till 1 year – on 1 drop in each nasal course with the medical purpose 3-4 times a day, with the hygienic purpose – 1-4 times a day.

The course of treatment makes up to 4 weeks. If necessary it is possible to repeat a course of treatment in a month.

Adults.

Before the procedure it is necessary to wash up hands with soap and to accurately exempt the nasal courses from a secret a bystry sharp exhalation through a nose. For the prevention of an effluence of solution it is necessary to lay down and throw back the head back, then, trying not to concern a dropper of a bottle of internal walls of a nose, to dig drug.
