General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: ascorbic acid of 250 mg;
Excipients: methyl silicone of 10 mg, lactoses monohydrate of 670 mg,
gipromelloza of 60 mg, magnesium stearate of 10 mg.

Description: oval tablets from color, white to white with a light yellow shade.

Pharmacological properties:

Ascorbic acid reduces рН vaginas, inhibiting growth of bacteria and promotes recovery and maintenance of normal indicators рН and vagina florae (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus gasseri).

Thus, at decrease рН vaginas within several days there is  an expressed suppression of growth of anaerobic bacteria, and also recovery of normal flora (Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus gasseri).

Pharmacokinetics. In a system blood-groove it is found in insignificant quantity, it is removed through
kidneys.

Indications to use:

— A chronic or recurrent vaginitis (a bacterial vaginosis, a nonspecific vaginitis) caused by anaerobic flora (owing to the vagina changed рН).
— For normalization of the broken vagina microflora.

Route of administration and doses:

Intravaginalno. 1 vaginal tablet is entered into a vagina lying on spin at slightly bent legs of 1 times in the evening before going to bed. The course of treatment makes 6 days. Repeated courses of treatment are possible.

If necessary it is possible to prolong a course of therapy for longer term.

Features of use:

Drug does not oppress growth of fungal flora of a vagina.
Breaks in use of Vaginorma-S in connection with intercyclic or menstrual bleedings are not obligatory.

Vitamin C changes a picture of content of glucose in urine as well as a picture of content of transaminases, a lactate of a dehydrogenase and bilirubin in blood serum.
Such manifestations as burning and itch can be caused by existence of the accompanying symptomless fungal infection. Therefore at emergence of these symptoms it is necessary to carry out the analysis for an exception of a fungal infection.

Side effects:

Drug is well transferred.
Very seldom (<1/10000) - hypersensitivity to one of drug components.
Seldom (<1/100, ≥ 1/1000 cases) burning or an itch in a vagina, strengthening of mucous allocations, a hyperemia, puffiness of a vulva is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Salicylates stimulate process of removal of vitamin C of an organism. Estrogen improves bioavailability of vitamin C. Vitamin C reduces activity of anticoagulants.

Contraindications:

— Hypersensitivity to any of components;
— Candidosis vulvovaginitis.

Use at pregnancy and a lactation
It is not contraindicated during pregnancy and a lactation.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not described.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging. In the dry place at a temperature not above 25 °C. In the place, unavailable to children.
