General characteristics. Structure:
Active agent: 100 g of cream contain 5 g of an ibuprofen.
Pharmacological properties:
The ibuprofen has anesthetic and antiinflammatory effect. The mechanism of its action consists in suppression of synthesis of prostaglandins and other mediators of an inflammation. After drawing on skin active ingredient well gets into hypodermic fabrics. Dolgit cream reduces local signs of an inflammation, for example, pain and hypostasis. Drawing on skin in joints improves their function. The effect occurs already in half an hour after use.
Indications to use:
Outside topical treatment of acute or chronic painful and inflammatory conditions of a musculoskeletal system, mialgiya and miositis. It is applied at the painful states connected with arthrosis at local forms of arthritises, extraarticular rheumatism, a bursitis and a tendovaginitis. Vertebrogenny pain syndrome, lumbago, tservikobrakhialny syndrome. Traumatic injuries of joints (sprain, hemorrhage, dislocation) and muscles. The tired-out muscles as a result of sports activities or other exercise stress, superficial inflammations of veins.
Route of administration and doses:
3 — 4 times a day apply a strip of Dolgit of cream 4 — 10 cm long on skin in the field of an affected area and rub the easy movements. Penetration into hypodermic fabrics can be improved by means of an occlusive bandage. Duration of therapy is guided by retreat of symptoms of a disease, according to indications 2 — 4 weeks usually proceed. In more serious cases it is recommended to combine topical treatment of Dolgit cream with an ibuprofen for internal use by either other anti-inflammatory or antirheumatic drug. Penetration of an ibuprofen into hypodermic fabric amplifies by means of an ionophoresis (Dolgit cream is applied on the cathode, current — 0,1−0,5 ma on 5 cm2 of a surface of an electrode, ionophoresis duration — 15 minutes).
Features of use:
If Dolgit cream is applied as a maintenance therapy along with the drugs accepted inside, containing an ibuprofen it is necessary to accept this fact into account in connection with the general dose of the taken ibuprofen. During pregnancy it can be applied only quickly and at reasonable indications, on the small site of skin. Use in the third trimester of pregnancy is not recommended. During feeding by a breast it is possible to apply quickly at reasonable indications.
Side effects:
As a rule, Dolgit cream is well transferred. After use local erubescence (erythema) can appear and patients allergic persons have more serious forms of a local rash. Generalized allergic reactions meet very seldom.
Interaction with other medicines:
Now any considerable interactions of locally applied Dolgit of cream with other medicines are not known. Nevertheless, it is impossible to apply at the same time on the same place Dolgit cream and other locally operating drug.
Contraindications:
Dolgit cream it is impossible to apply on an open skin wound or superficial diseases of skin, mucous membranes and eyes. Drug is also contraindicated at hypersensitivity to an ibuprofen or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It is impossible to apply it, especially repeatedly and on the bigger square, during pregnancy, mainly, in the third trimester, and at children aged up to 14 years.
Overdose:
There are no data on overdose.
