Calcium gluconate, tab. 0,5g No. 10

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 1 tablet contains - calcium of a gluconate of 0,5 g; excipients: potato starch, talc, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

The antiallergic, haemo static, reducing permeability of vessels means. Fills relative or absolute shortage of calcium. Calcium ions take part in transfer of nervous impulses, reduction smooth and striated muscles, functioning of a myocardium, coagulability of blood; they are necessary for formation of a bone tissue, functioning of other systems and bodies. Concentration of calcium ions in blood decreases at many pathological processes, and the expressed hypocalcemia promotes emergence of a tetany.

Indications to use:

Insufficient function of epithelial bodies, the strengthened release of calcium from an organism (in particular, at a long absence of the movement), allergic diseases, including a medicinal allergy, a hyperpermeability of vessels at pathological processes of various genesis, parenchymatous hepatitis, toxic damage of a liver, nephrite, an eclampsia, skin diseases, bleedings, an antidote at poisoning with magnesium salts, oxalic acid, its soluble salts, soluble salts of fluoric acid.

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint the adult in a dose 1-3 g (2-6 tablets) 2-3 times a day. To children of a tablet appoint: till 1 year - 0,5 g (1 tab.), from 2nd to 4 years - 1 g (2 tab.), from 5 to 6 years - 1-1,5 g (2-3 tab.), from 7 to 9 years - 1,5-2 g (3-4 tab.), from 10 to 14 years - 2-3 g (4-6 tab.) 2-3 times a day. A pill is taken before food, washing down with a small amount of water.

Features of use:

With care appoint at a small hypercalcuria, an insignificant renal failure or an urolithiasis.

Side effects:

The dispepsichesky phenomena (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) are possible.

Contraindications:

Hypercalcemia, hypercoagulation, the expressed atherosclerosis.
