General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 ampoule contains 0,1 g of inosine;

Excipients: hexamethylenetetramine, 1 M hydroxide sodium solution, water for injections.

The main physical and chemical svoystva:prozrachny, colourless liquid.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Inosine - the purine derivative participating in ATP synthesis exerts positive impact on exchange processes in a myocardium, increasing activity of a number of enzymes of a tricarbonic acid cycle and energy balance. Increases force of reductions of heart and promotes fuller relaxation of a myocardium in a diastole therefore the stroke output increases. Improves blood supply of fabrics, including coronary blood supply. Activates an angenesis (especially a myocardium and mucous a stomach and intestines).

Drug has anabolic, antiarrhytmic and anti-hypoxemic effect.

Pharmacokinetics. The first minute at intravenous administration drug is metabolized and quickly distributed in fabric where it is completely utilized in biochemical reactions of an organism.

Indications to use:

In complex treatment of coronary heart disease (stenocardia, disturbances of a cordial rhythm), cardiomyopathy of various genesis; digitalis intoxication, myocarditis, liver diseases (acute and chronic hepatitises, cirrhosis, alcoholic and medicinal injuries of a liver, fatty dystrophy of a liver), peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum, open-angle form of glaucoma.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply intravenously struyno (slowly) or kapelno, with a speed of 40-60 thaws a minute. In the beginning enter 200 mg (10 ml of 2% of solution) of 1 times a day, at good tolerance the dose can be increased to 400 mg (20 ml of 2% of solution) 1-2 times a day. At intravenous drop administration drug is dissolved by 5% with solution of glucose or 0,9% chloride sodium solution (to 250 ml). A course of treatment - 10-15 days.

Features of use:

At emergence of an itch and a dermahemia treatment by drug should be cancelled. During treatment it is necessary to control the level of concentration of urea in blood and urine.

Side effects:

The itch, dermahemias, increase in concentration of uric acid in blood are in some cases possible. In rare instances at prolonged use and high doses the exacerbation of gout is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous administration of drug with β-adrenoblockers the effect does not decrease. At interaction with cardiac glycosides drug can prevent developing of arrhythmias and strengthen positive inotropic action.
