Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Heparin sodium - the anticoagulant of direct action relating to group of middlemolecular heparins. At external use renders local antitrombotichesky, antiexudative, moderate antiinflammatory action. Blocks formation of thrombin, activity of hyaluronidase oppresses, activates fibrinolitic properties of blood. The heparin which is gradually released from gel and passing through skin reduces inflammatory process and has antitrombotichesky effect, improves microcirculation and activates fabric exchange, thanks to it accelerates processes of a rassasyvaniye of hematomas and blood clots and reduction of puffiness of fabrics.

Pharmacokinetics. Heparin badly gets through the unimpaired skin and mucous membranes owing to what it practically does not possess systemic resorptive action. The insignificant amount of heparin is absorbed from the surface of skin in a system blood stream. The maximum concentration of heparin in blood is noted in 8 hours after application. Heparin removal, generally happens through kidneys, an elimination half-life of 12 hours.

Indications to use:

Treatment of diseases of superficial veins, such as varicosity and related complications, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis, superficial rephlebitis. Postoperative varicose phlebitis, complications after surgical removal of a saphena of a leg. Injuries and bruises, infiltrates and the localized hypostases, hypodermic hematomas. Injuries and stretchings muscular and tendinous and capsules - copular structures.

In the presence at the patient of gemorrargichesky symptoms it is necessary to weigh a possibility of use of medicine carefully. It is not necessary to appoint medicine at bleedings, to apply on the open wounds infected sites of skin in the presence of purulent processes, mucous membranes, eyes and on area around eyes on ulcers and blisters. In case of blood coagulation disturbances gel is not recommended to be applied on big sites of skin. In case of treatment of phlebitis this medicine should not be rubbed in skin.

Considering that penetration of heparin from an injection site in a system blood stream is insignificant, the mode of dosing of this medicine with an abnormal liver function and kidneys does not demand correction from persons.

Pregnancy and lactation. The uses of medicine given relatively during pregnancy and feeding by a breast are absent.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or other mechanisms. Drug does not influence ability to manage transport or to service mechanisms.

Children. Owing to limited experience of use children should not appoint medicine.

Side effects:

In some cases hypersensitivity reactions, such as reddening, an itch and cutaneous swelling, burning, rash, urticaria, a Quincke's disease, hemorrhages, sometimes – emergence of small pustules, bubbles or bubbles which quickly pass after medicine phase-out can be observed. When drawing on big sites of skin system side reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Use of heparin can promote extension of the pro-thrombosed time at the patients accepting peroral anticoagulants. It is not necessary to apply medicine together with medicines to topical administration, for example, with the medicines containing tetracycline, a hydrocortisone, salicylic acid with anticoagulants.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to heparin or other components of medicine, the trophic ulcers of legs bleeding open and/or contaminated wounds, hemorrhagic diathesis, a purpura, thrombocytopenia, hemophilia. Tendency to bleedings.
