Calcium a gluconate - Darnitsa (stabilized)

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: calcium gluconate; 1 ml of solution contains calcium of a gluconate (glucocash) in terms of 100% substance – 85 mg; calcium of a levulinat in terms of 100% dry matter – 10 mg; saccharate calcium in terms of 100% substance – 5 mg;

excipients: Acidum hydrochloricum, 0,1 M of solution to рН from 5,0 to 7,0; waters for injections – to 1 ml.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Calcium ions take part in transfer of nervous impulses, reduction smooth and striated muscles, functioning of a myocardium, a blood coagulation; they are necessary for formation of a bone tissue, functioning of other systems and bodies. Concentration of calcium ions in blood decreases at many pathological processes; the expressed hypocalcemia promotes emergence of a tetany. Except elimination of a hypocalcemia of compound of calcium reduce permeability of vessels, have antiallergic, antiinflammatory, haemo static effect.

Pharmacokinetics. After parenteral introduction drug is evenly distributed in all fabrics and bodies. In a blood plasma calcium is in the ionized state. Passes through a placental barrier, it is allocated in breast milk. It is brought out of an organism, generally by kidneys.

Pharmaceutical characteristics.

main physical and chemical properties: transparent, colourless liquid.

Incompatibility. Pharmatsevtichno is not compatible to alcohol, carbonates, salicylates, sulfates.

Indications to use:

Insufficiency of function of epithelial bodies, the raised calcium conclusion from an organism (in particular at long dehydration), as supportive application at allergic diseases (a serum disease, a small tortoiseshell, a Quincke's disease) and allergic complications of medicamentous therapy, for reduction of permeability of vessels at pathological processes of various genesis (an exudative phase of inflammatory process, a hemorrhagic vasculitis, a radial illness); at parenchymatous hepatitis, toxic damages of a liver, nephrite, an eclampsia, a hyperpotassemia, a giperkaliyemichesky form of a paroxysmal mioplegiya, at skin diseases (a skin itch, eczema, psoriasis), as styptic cure, and also as an antidote for poisonings with magnesium salts, oxalic acid or its soluble salts, soluble salts of fluoric acid.

Route of administration and doses:

Intravenously or intramusculary to adults and children   14 years are more senior enter 5–10 ml of Calcium glyukonata-Darnitsya (stabilized) daily, in a day or in 2 days, depending on the nature of a disease and a condition of the patient.

The ampoule with solution before introduction is warmed up to body temperature. Solution is entered slowly, for 2–3 min.

To children intravenously, depending on age, 10% enter solution of a gluconate of calcium in the following doses: aged up to 6 months – 0,1–1 ml, 6–12 months – 1–1,5 ml, 1–3 years – 1,5–2 ml, 4–6 years – 2–2,5 ml, 7–14 years – 3–5 ml.

For administration of solution in number of less than 1 ml the single dose is brought to the corresponding volume (syringe volume) of 0,9% isotonic solution of sodium of chloride or 5% glucose solution.

Features of use:

Patients with a hypercalcuria, decrease in glomerular filtering or with nefrourolitiazy in the anamnesis need to appoint drug with care and under control of content of calcium in urine.

For decrease in risk of development of a nefrourolitiaz the use in enough liquid is recommended.

Before filling of the syringe solution of calcium of a gluconate it is necessary it will be convinced that in it there are no alcohol remains because owing to their interaction of calcium the gluconate drops out in a deposit.

Ability to influence the speed of reactions at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. There are no references to what Calcium glyukonat-Darnitsa (stabilized) can influence the speed of psychomotor reactions.

Side effects:

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, bradycardia, feeling of heat in an oral cavity, and afterwards – in all body which quickly pass independently can sometimes be observed.

Interaction with other medicines:

Calcium glyukonat-Darnitsa (stabilized) is eliminated by oppression of neuromuscular transmission after use of antibiotics of a number of aminoglycosides. At combined use with tiazidovy diuretics leads to development of a hypercalcemia. During treatment by cardiac glycosides parenteral use of drug promotes strengthening of cardiotoxic effects of cardiac glycosides. At simultaneous use with Phenihydinum drugs of calcium weaken its effect. Drugs of calcium increase toxicity of quinidine.

Contraindications:

Tendency to fibrinferments, hypercalcemia, the expressed atherosclerosis, the increased blood coagulation.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. Drug use to pregnant women and during feeding by a breast perhaps taking into account a ratio advantage for woman/risk for a fruit (child).

Children. Children aged up to 14 years intramusculary are not recommended to administer the drug because of a possibility of development of a necrosis.

Overdose:

Symptoms: Development of a hypercalcemia is possible.

Treatment: As an antidote apply a calcitonin which is entered intravenously at the rate of 5-10 ME on 1 kg of body weight a day (drug dissolve 0,9% of solution of sodium of chloride in 500 ml, enter kapelno for 6 h into 2–4 receptions).

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. To store in the place, unavailable to children, in original packaging at a temperature not above 25 °C.
