Sycosis

Description:

Sycosis (from other - Greek  — an ulceration) — the chronic recurrent inflammation of hair follicles arising at penetration of stafilokokk into them. Men, especially in the presence are ill them functional frustration of nervous and endocrine systems or the centers of persistent infection preferential (rhinitis, conjunctivitis, etc.)

Sycosis symptoms:

It is localized usually on face skin in a beard, moustaches, is more rare — a century, eyebrows, a pilar part of the head, axillary poles, a pubis where there are pustules penetrated in the center by a hair, places accurately outlined plaques merging in. Process is inclined to distribution on the neighboring sites of skin.
Development of a disease. The shrinking pustules form the greenish-gray, densely soldered to a hair crusts during which removal the becoming wet, slightly bleeding surface is visible. Subjectively — feeling of tightening of skin, easy burning, an itch.

Sycosis reasons:

The factors contributing to development of a sycosis — a microtrauma (grazes, scratches, cuts), etc.

Treatment of the Sycosis:

Antibiotics, hemotransfusion, fortifying means, specific immunodrugs (staphylococcal antiphagin, auto-and polyvalent vaccine); locally — disinfecting lotions, a sintomitsinovy emulsion, removal of the affected hair. On affected areas shaving is not recommended.
