Noksprey-bebi

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: oxymetazoline; 1 ml of drug contains 0,25 mg of oxymetazoline of a hydrochloride; excipients: a benzalkoniya chloride, propylene glycol, eucalyptole, sodium dihydrophosphate, dinatrium эдетат (Trilonum of B), the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Noksprey-bebi — α-адреномиметик, derivative imidazoline treats vasoconstrictors for topical administration. At introduction to a nasal cavity drug narrows arterioles of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity owing to what hypostasis decreases, the hyperemia, exudation, is recovered nasal breath, allocations from a nose decrease. Noksprey-bebi reduces puffiness of a mucous membrane around an opening of an Eustachian tube, improving a drainage at an eustachitis and average otitis. The essential oils which are a part of drug promote elimination of irritation of a mucous membrane of a nose, protect it from excessive drying. Local vasoconstriction of a mucous membrane of a nose and adnexal bosoms arises in 5-10 minutes after injection of Nokspreya-bebi in a nasal cavity and lasts for 10-12 hours.

Indications to use:

Acute rhinitis of an allergic or infectious and inflammatory etiology, sinusitis, congestion of a nose and the complicated nasal breath at catarrhal diseases, an eustachitis, average otitis. For simplification of carrying out a rinoskopiya and other manipulations in a nasal cavity.

Route of administration and doses:

To children from 1 to 6 years on one injection in each nostril 2 times a day for 3-5 days.

Features of use:

It is necessary to avoid prolonged use and overdose of drug. Prolonged use of antiedematouses for a nose can lead to decrease in their efficiency. Abuse of these means can cause a mucosal atrophy of a nasal cavity and a reactive hyperemia with medicamentous rhinitis.

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. During pregnancy and feeding by a breast it is possible to use drug in case the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Noksprey-bebi it is shown for use to children under 6 years. In the recommended doses drug does not influence the speed of psychomotor reactions.

Children. Noksprey-bebi appoint to children of 1 year.

Appropriate precautionary measures at use. The tip of a nozzle of a bottle is entered into each nasal course and sharply pressed once a bottle. During injection air is involved by a nose. It is not necessary to reject the head back and to overturn a bottle at injection of Nokspreya-bebi (the bottle is disciplined vertically). For the prevention of spread of an infection several persons should not use one bottle. Duration of use of drug should not exceed 7 days.

Side effects:

Sometimes — a burning sensation or dryness of nasal covers, sneezing, fatigue. In rare instances — a reactive hyperemia. The repeated overdose at topical nasal administration results in such system sympathomimetic effects as increase of pulse (tachycardia), dizziness, pallor of integuments, slackness, drowsiness or sleeplessness, concern, increase in arterial pressure, a headache, nausea, vomiting. Prolonged continuous use of vasoconstrictive drugs can lead to a tachyphylaxis, a mucosal atrophy of a nasal cavity and the return hypostasis mucous a nose (medicamentous rhinitis).

Interaction with other medicines:

Noksprey-bebi it is not necessary to apply at the same time with other local vasoconstrictors and means to intranasal introduction, and also with tricyclic antidepressants and inhibitors of a monoaminooxidase.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components; atrophic rhinitis; the increased intraocular pressure; pheochromocytoma; severe forms of cardiovascular diseases, including arterial hypertension; metabolic disturbances (hyperthyroidism, diabetes mellitus); children's age till 1 year. Contraindicated simultaneous use of inhibitors of a monoaminooxidase and other drugs which promote increase in arterial pressure.

Overdose:

At considerable overdose or at accidental intake such symptoms can be noted: narrowing of pupils, nausea, vomiting, cyanosis, hyperthermia, tachycardia, arrhythmia, vascular insufficiency, arterial hypertension, respiratory frustration, fluid lungs, cardiac standstill, mental disorders. Extremely seldom — oppression of functions of the central nervous system which are followed by drowsiness, decrease in body temperature, bradycardia, arterial hypotension and possible development of a coma.

Therapeutic actions at overdose: gastric lavage, reception of absorbent carbon, urgent address to the doctor and symptomatic treatment.

Storage conditions:

To store at  a temperature from 2 °C to 30 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Period of validity. 3 years. It is not necessary to use drug after the termination of the period of validity specified on packaging.
