General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 100 mg or 200 mg of an atsetitsistein.

Indications to use:

Treatment of the acute and chronic diseases of bronchopulmonary system demanding reduction of viscosity of a phlegm, improvement of its otkhozhdeniye and expectoration. Prevention of a syndrome of distal intenstinalny obstruction at a mucoviscidosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply inside after food. Contents of 1 package are dissolved in 1/2 glasses of water, juice or cold tea just before reception.

To adults and children 14 years - on 2 packages of 100 mg or on 1 package of 200 mg 2-3 times a day are more senior.

Children are from 6 to 14 years old - on 1 package of 100 mg 3-4 times a day or on 1 package of 200 mg 2 times a day.

To children from 2 to 6 years - on 1 package of 100 mg 2-3 times a day.

At poisoning with paracetamol (as an antidote, the combined use of Acetylcysteinum and aktiviroyovanny coal more effectively, than treatment only Acetylcysteinum) inside the initial dose of 140 mg/kg, then to 70 mg/kg is each 4 hours - to 17 additional doses Accept drug after food.

Side effects:

Interaction with other medicines:

Simultaneous use of Acetylcysteinum with antibechics can increase stagnation of a phlegm because of suppression of a tussive reflex.

It is not recommended to apply along with antibiotics of a tetracycline row (behind an exception doksi-a tsiklin) - possibly interaction of antibiotics with thiol group of Acetylcysteinum; the interval between their priyeyoma has to make not less than 2 hours About incompatibility with such antibiotics as amoxicillin, эрит­ромицин and tsefuroksy there are no data.

Acetylcysteinum is a paracetamol antidote.

Contraindications:

- pregnancy, feeding period breast

- liver or renal failure;
