General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: paracetamol - 0,5 g.
Excipients: potato starch, povidone, methyl cellulose water-soluble, stearic acid.

Pharmacological properties:

Paracetamol is anesthetic and febrifuge. Blocks synthesis of prostaglandins in the central nervous system due to oppression of cyclooxygenase 1 and cyclooxygenase 2, influencing the centers of pain and thermal control. Does not show antiinflammatory effect. Lack of influence on synthesis of prostaglandins in peripheral fabrics causes absence at it negative influence on a water salt metabolism (a delay of sodium and water) and mucous digestive tract.

Indications to use:

Feverish syndrome against the background of infectious diseases; pain syndrome (weak and moderate expressiveness): arthralgia, mialgiya, neuralgia, migraine, tooth and headache, альгодисменорея.

Route of administration and doses:

Adults, including elderly and children are more senior than 12 years:
On 0,5-1 g, in 1-2 hours after food with a large amount of liquid. The subsequent reception in 4-6 hours, the maximum daily dose to 4 g a day.

The interval between receptions has to be not less than 4 hours. Do not take more than 8 pill within 24 hours.
