Polyneuritis

Description:

Polyneuritis — the disease is preferential nerves of extremities. The polyneuritis can arise as an independent disease, and also as a complication of an infectious disease, напр, diphtherias, dysentery or a disease of hemadens with disbolism, e.g.  at a diabetes mellitus.

Polyneuritis symptoms:

The disease begins with feeling of crawling of goosebumps, a cold snap and numbness in brushes and feet, feelings of a chill in them even in hot weather, emergence of the aching or shooting extremity pains.
Gradually weakness in legs, unstable gait joins, it becomes difficult to hold objects in hands. Muscles of extremities decrease in volume (atrophy). Sensitivity, especially in brushes and feet — as "gloves" and "socks" is broken.

Polyneuritis reasons:

The polyneuritis can begin at people with a disease of a stomach and intestines owing to disturbance of absorption of the substances necessary for food of nervous tissue and digestion of vitamins. Special group make a toxic polyneuritis — at chronic poisoning with arsenic, mercury, lead, at the wrong use of means of household chemicals.

The polyneuritis can develop at an alcoholism in connection with toxic effect of alcohol on a nervous system and disbolism.

Treatment of the Polyneuritis:

Treatment is carried out to destination and under observation of the doctor. It is important to remove the cause which caused a disease.
In the acute period the bed rest is necessary. Except medicinal treatment, physiotherapeutic procedures, physiotherapy  exercises can be appointed; at a chronic current — a resort therapy.
