General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains 100 mg of Mebendazolum.

Auxiliary components: sodium lauryl sulfate, silicon dioxide colloid, magnesium stearate, sodium saccharinate, talc, starch corn, lactoses monohydrate.

Pharmacological properties:

Anthelmintic drug of a broad spectrum of activity, is most effective at an enterobiosis and a trichuriasis. Causing irreversible disturbance of utilization of glucose, exhausts glycogen stocks in fabrics of helminths, interferes with synthesis of a cellular tubulin, and also slows down synthesis of adenosinetriphosphate (ATP).

Pharmacokinetics. Practically it is not soaked up in intestines. Elimination half-life 2.5-5.5 hours. Communication with proteins of plasma - 90%. It is distributed on bodies unevenly, collects in fatty tissue, a liver, larvae of helminths. In a liver about 2 amin derivatives are metabolized. Route of administration and doses:

At a trichinosis 3 times a day on 200-400 mg within 3 days, and from 4 to 10 day - 3 times on 400-500 mg. At an echinococcosis in the first 3 days - on 500 mg 2 times a day, in the next 3 days increase a dose to 500 mg 3 times a day, further raise a dose to maximum (at the rate of 25-30 mg/kg/days) and accept in 3-4 receptions.

Features of use:

At long reception it is necessary to control a pattern of peripheral blood, function of a liver and kidneys.
During the day after reception the use of ethanol, greasy food is forbidden, do not appoint laxative.

Side effects:

Dizziness, nausea, abdominal pains.

Interaction with other medicines:

Contraindications:

Overdose:
