Bifidumbacterium

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: not less live bifidobacteria - not less than 107, fat of confectionery (75,0-85,0) %, paraffin of oil firm (5,0-7,5) %, T-2 emulsifier (5,0-7,5) %; drying environment components: edible gelatin (0,5-1,5) %; sucrose or sugar (5,0-7,0) %; cow's milk, in terms of dry matter (1,0-2,5) %.

Excipients: fat confectionery, paraffin oil firm, T-2 emulsifier.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Drug represents the microbic mass of active strains of bifidobacteria live antagonistic (Bifidobacterium bifidum No. 1 or V. bifidum No. 791) lyophilized in the environment of cultivation with addition of the environment of drying (sakharozo-zhelatino-milk) and formed in suppository.

Living microbic cells of bifidobacteria have high antagonistic activity concerning pathogenic and opportunistic microbes, including staphylococcus, proteas, enteropathogenic colibacillus, shigellas, drozhzhepodobny mushrooms that defines the normalizing influence of drug at disturbances of a bakteriotsenoz of intestines and female genitalias. Replacement of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora promotes recovery normoflor.

Indications to use:

Treatment of dysbacterioses and inflammatory processes of distal departments of intestines at adults and children is more senior than 3 years:

- chronic colitis of a different etiology with the expressed pathological processes in distal departments of intestines;

- an aftercare of the persons who had acute intestinal infections in the presence of dysfunction of intestines, allocation of activators or the expressed dysbacteriosis of a different etiology.

Treatment of dysbacterioses and inflammatory processes of female genitalias at adults:

- the nonspecific colpitises (which are not connected with gonococcal, mecotic and other specific infection); appoint as independent means or after the termination of a course of antibacterial therapy;

- vagina disbioza, including bacterial vaginosis (bacterial vaginosis); appoint as independent means or in a complex with immunobiological drugs;

- subacute and chronic stages of inflammatory processes of a female genital; appoint after the termination of a course of antibacterial therapy for the purpose of normalization of microflora;

- hormonal dependent colpitises: senile, etc.; appoint as independent means against the background of specific hormonal therapy;

- preparation for planned gynecologic operations with the purpose of prevention of postoperative infectious complications;

- prenatal training of pregnant women of risk group on development of inflammatory diseases for the purpose of prevention and treatment of dysbacterioses of a vagina;

- as supportive application at treatment of urogenital infections and other diseases, sexually transmitted (D,ST): gonorrhoeas, urogenital clamidiosis, genital herpes, etc.

Drug is used for recovery of normal microflora in a combination to specific antimicrobic, antiviral and immunomodulatory therapy and after therapy.

Route of administration and doses:

Before use of suppository make an incision a strip packaging and extract suppository. At intestinal diseases suppositories apply rektalno 3 times a day 1-2 suppositories on reception in combination with reception of peroral forms of bifidumbacterium in 20-30 min. prior to food on 5 doses 1-2 times a day. Duration of a course of treatment after acute intestinal infections makes 7-10 days, at long and chronic forms of a disease, intestinal dysbioses of 15-30 days and more.

In gynecologic practice: nonspecific colpitises, vagina disbioza, senile vaginita of the hormonal nature, etc. - drug appoint vaginalno on 1 suppository 2 times a day within 5-10 days.

At disturbance of purity of a vaginal secret at pregnant women to the III-IV degree drug is used on 1 suppository by 1-2 times a day within 5-10 and more days under control of recovery of purity of a vaginal secret to the I-II degree and disappearance of clinical symptoms.

For the purpose of prevention it is purulent - septic complications at planned gynecologic operations and by prenatal training of pregnant women of risk group apply on 1 suppository 1-2 times a day within 5-10 days before alleged operation or delivery.

Recovery therapy after and during specific antimicrobic, antiviral and immunomodulatory therapy - the drug is administered on 1 suppository by 1-2 times a day during the carried-out therapy and 10 days after end. If necessary the course can be repeated in 10-20 days.

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation. Drug can be used at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

The drug having a smell of rancid oil or with the broken packaging is not suitable for use.

Influence on ability to manage vehicles and mechanisms. Are not established.

Side effects:

Does not cause side reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is possible to combine use of bifidumbacterium with co-administration of antibacterial, antiviral and immunomodulatory drugs.

The combined use of suppositories and peroral forms of bifidumbacterium is recommended.

Contraindications:

Contraindications to use of drug are absent.

Overdose:

It is not established.

Storage conditions:

To transport according to the joint venture 3.3.2.1248-03 at a temperature not above 10 °C. To store according to the joint venture 3.3.2.1248-03 at a temperature not above 10 °C in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 1 year. Not to use after a period of validity.
