Rekutan

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: flowers of a camomile extract liquid (1:1); excipients: polysorbate-80, ethanol of 50%.

Pharmacological properties:

Rekutan has a number of the effects caused by the himchesky substances which are a part of extract of flowers of a camomile, namely antiinflammatory (oppresses exudative processes), wound healing (stimulates an angenesis), and also has separate antiseptic action. Rekutan does not possess local irritative action. Long use of drug does not lead to negative influence on an organism.

Indications to use:

Monotherapy or in complex therapy for treatment of dental diseases (stomatitis, an ulitis, a glossitis, a periodontal disease); diseases of upper respiratory tracts (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, including after a tonzilektomiya, laryngitis, faringo-and laryngotracheitis, chronic bronchitis); in gastroenterology (a peptic ulcer of a stomach and a 12-perstny gut, acute and chronic gastritis, a duodenitis, colitis and a coloenteritis of various origin); in a proctology (a proctitis, a proctosigmoiditis, hemorrhoids, a skin itch in proctal and parianalny area); in gynecology (the erosion of a neck of uterus, a colpitis, a cervicitis, wound defects of a crotch and vagina arising at childbirth).

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is intended for adults. Rekutan apply locally in the form of rinsings, washings, lotions (applications), irrigations. Besides, Rekutan accept inside and enter into a rectum. For vaginal washing 2 - 3 tablespoons of Rekutan part in 1 l of warm water. Appoint daily 2 - 3 times a day for 3 - 4 weeks. At diseases of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity – for rinsings: 2 teaspoons of drug dissolve in a glass of water. At diseases of a parodont in it
solution moisten turundas which enter into gingival pockets for 10-15 minutes daily, for 3 - 7 days. At diseases of upper respiratory tracts – for daily inhalations (on 10
minutes) for 10 days. At diseases of a stomach and duodenum drug is accepted inside, in the form of solution: 1 teaspoon of drug on ½ glasses of warm water, in 20 min. prior to
food, 2 - 4 times a day. Duration of treatment is determined by the doctor depending on a condition of the patient. At colitis for strengthening of therapeutic effect together with intake it is reasonable to use drug also in the form of enemas. For this purpose 1 - 2 teaspoons of Rekutan part in 1 glass of warm water and enter into a rectum after involuntary bowel emptying. The course of treatment consists 3 - 4 weeks.
At hemorrhoids – for enemas and trays: 2 teaspoons of drug on a glass of warm water, 2 – 3 times a day. At an itch in proctal and prianalny areas Rekutan apply in the form of local trays with observance of the specified ratio of drug and water.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. Can use drug pregnant women and women during feeding by a breast taking into account a ratio advantage/risk which is defined by the doctor. Ability to influence speed of reaction at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Drug does not influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with
other mechanisms. At use inside it is necessary to consider that the single dose of drug contains 5% of ethanol. Children. Experience of use of drug for children is absent.

Side effects:

At individual hypersensitivity to a camomile allergic reactions (a skin itch, a small tortoiseshell, a Quincke's edema, an acute anaphylaxis) are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Interaction with medicines is not known yet.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. Children's age. Appropriate security measures at use. It is impossible to use undiluted drug.

Overdose:

There are no data.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 2 years. In original packaging at a temperature from 15 ºС to 25 ºС.
