The name of a diet is connected with clinic of Mayo (USA) specializing in treatment of various pathologies including obesity.

Main principle of a diet of Mayo: low-calorie vegetable soup which is eaten in the small portions in each meal becomes a basis of food. Except soup the diet is supplemented with a set of certain products, and it is forbidden to replace products. Dishes are prepared without oil use. It is during the day important to drink a lot of pure still water.

Second day

Third day

Fourth day

Soup, vegetables and fruit, it is possible to add bananas (2 pieces) and milk.

Fifth day

Soup, tomatoes and boiled fast beef (to 800 g).

Sixth day

Soup, boiled fast beef (without restrictions), vegetables, except potatoes.

Seventh day

Soup, brown rice and vegetables (in any quantity), unsweetened juice from fruit.

The following products will be necessary for preparation of fat-burning soup:

  • White cabbage – 1 average head of cabbage;
  • Tomatoes – 3-5 pieces of the average size;
  • Paprika – 2 pieces of the average size;
  • Onions – 6 average bulbs;
  • Celery bunch;
  • Salt, curry, black ground pepper.

Preparation: vegetables are washed, cut, filled in with cold water and brought to boiling on strong fire, cooked 8-10 minutes then they reduce fire and cooked longer to a softening. At the end of cooking soup is salted and add spice.

Fat-burning soup is eaten at any time during the day. It is not recommended to cook soup for several days, it is better to cook every day a fresh portion. If growing thin leaves the house, soup can be poured in a thermos and to satisfy with it hunger as required.
