Basal temperature at pregnancy

Body temperatures of the person has a clear boundary of norm and pathology. Nevertheless, basal temperature is taken in disputable cases when it is unknown whether there was a pre-natal death of a fruit. Often in practice there are situations which are followed by the long smearing allocations. It occurs on early terms of incubation of the child. Heartbeat of a fruit is noted on the device ultrasonography only from eight-week age. The sizes of a uterus increase only on the fifth or sixth week, and it is possible to determine a condition of a fruit only by indicators of basal temperature, at pregnancy the graphic representation of which is characterized as a monophase straight line.

The schedule of basal temperature at pregnancy

After an ovulation value of body temperature is set by gestagena – the female sex hormones directed to maturing of cells of an endometria, mucous membranes, a skin blanket – out of pregnancy. After conception of the child action of gestagen is not cancelled until childbirth, it is unimportant in what term. Therefore the schedule of basal temperature at pregnancy has to represent the straight line which is on a mark of 37,1 °C and above. If basal temperature at pregnancy considerably exceeds reference values and reaches a point in 38 °C, it is necessary to think of the reasons which are not connected with incubation of the child. Such, as:

• Acute poisoning;
• Infectious disease;
• Exacerbation of chronic diseases;
• The inflammatory changes of bodies provoked by the occurred pregnancy.

Often the correct indicators of basal temperature at pregnancy are the only criterion indicating that the child is living and continues to develop, irrespective of interruption threat symptoms.

Low basal temperature at pregnancy

Values of rectal temperature are defined not from its height at the time of measurement, and from the previous indicators. Women who use this method for definition of an ovulation have the schedule in which values are accurately specified during monthly and in the second phase of a menstrual cycle. If prior to the beginning of the second phase and at the time of an ovulation low basal temperature was noted, at pregnancy of its value above, but remain at one level. Much more difficult to those women who begin maintaining the schedule during pregnancy. There are reasons for alarm. However it must be kept in mind specific features of an organism. Some women bear the child whereas their basal temperature can make only 36,8-36,9 °C, sometimes and classical: 36,6 °C.

It is important that the temperature curve was at one level, without "jumps" up and from top to bottom.

Really dangerous decrease in basal temperature at pregnancy is noted when its values become below initial level. In such cases replacement hormonal therapy is carried out.

Basal temperature at the stood pregnancy

The stood pregnancy, in essence, means a cancelled abortion. At the woman is not present monthly, and fetation stops in connection with his pre-natal death. The organism reacts decrease in level of gestagen, but their quantity does not reach the critical level sufficient for rejection of an inside layer of a mucous membrane of a uterus as it happens at monthly. Bleeding is absent, symptoms of threat of interruption are not observed, but fetation stops.

Basal temperature at the stood pregnancy also has monophase character, but values are much lower than it. At the same time duration of gestation is absolutely unimportant, in any trimester basal temperature has to be identical: from the beginning of the second phase of a menstrual cycle till the child's birth.

The temperature diagnostic method of the stood pregnancy is not the only thing therefore at fluctuations it is necessary to undergo ultrasonography of a fruit in graphics. On late terms the technique of measurement of rectal temperature loses the relevance.
