Ouro Vaksom
Application instruction:
Ouro Vaksom – the immunostimulating medicine of a bacterial origin.
Structure and form of release
Drug is produced 
in the form of solid gelatin capsules with the yellow opaque case and an opaque lid of orange color. One capsule contains the operating component: the lyophilized bacterial lysate of 18 strains (Escherichia coli of 6 mg).
Additional components: prezhelatinizirovanny starch, propyl gallate, gelatin, dyes, sodium stearate, sodium glutamate, Mannitolum.
In blisters on 10 capsules.
Ouro Vaksom's analog is the Lysate of bacteria (Escherichia coli).
Pharmacological action
According to the instruction Ouro Vaksom has such properties:
- stimulates formation of endogenous interferon;
- stimulates T lymphocytes;
- increases the maintenance of IgA.
According to clinical tests, drug reduces the frequency of a recurrence of infections of an uric path, including cystitis.
Indications to Ouro Vaksom's use
According to the instruction Ouro Vaks appoint as a part of a combination therapy for prevention and treatment of a recurrence of persistent infection of an uric path, in particular, of cystitis, irrespective of a microorganism source.
According to Ouro Vaksom usually appoint in combination with antibiotics and other antimicrobic drugs to children is more senior than four years and the adult.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated to accept drug at hypersensitivity to one or several components.
Route of administration of Ouro Vaksom and mode of dosing
In the medical purposes 
drug is accepted on one capsule daily on an empty stomach as additional medicinal therapy in combination with usual antimicrobic therapy up to disappearance of symptoms. Reception duration usually makes not less than ten days. The maximum time of treatment – three months.
In the preventive purposes from a recurrence of persistent infection of an uric path accept on one capsule every morning on an empty stomach for three months.
Side effects of Ouro Vaksom
According to Ouro Vaksom it is well transferred by patients. There can sometimes be following by-effects:
- Dermatological reactions: erythema, skin itch, eczema.
- Alimentary system: diarrhea, vomiting, nausea.
- Other by-effects: insignificant fever.
Limited allergic skin reactions are in rare instances possible.
Overdose
No comments on Ouro Vaksom concerning overdose arrived. The drug nature, and also the results received during studying of its toxicity on animals indicate that the overdose is improbable.
Ouro Vaksom's use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pilot studies of studying of a reproduction no danger to a fruit was revealed.
Concerning use of drug or Ouro Vaksom's analog during pregnancy there are no data.
Medicinal interaction of Ouro Vaksom
It is recommended to observe precautionary measures and to refuse administration of drug in two weeks prior to and for two weeks after internal use of live vaccines.
Immunodepressive medicines can exert impact on Ouro Vaksom's action.
Storage conditions
Drug is stored at the room temperature not longer than five years.
