Авелокс

Авелокс is the antibacterial drug of group of ftorkhinolon having bactericidal effect.

Form of release and structure

Авелокс is issued in the form of tablets, coated and solution for infusions. Active agent – moxifloxacin. Excipients:

• Lactoses monohydrate;
• MKTS;
• Sodium of a kroskarmelloz;
• Magnesium stearate;
• Gipromelloza;
• Ferrous oxide yellow;
• Macrogoal 4000;
• Titanium dioxide.

Moxifloxacin, causing profound structural changes of a cell wall of the activator, leads of the pathogenic agent to death. Release of toxic components at destruction of the activator minimum that reduces risk of development of a severe form of intoxication during Aveloks's use.

Indications to use

Авелокс it is appointed at:

• Infectious processes of lungs and ENT organs;
• Intraabdominal and urogenital infections;
• Infectious diseases of soft tissues and integuments.

Aveloks's activity is shown concerning a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, bacteria, resistant to a beta laktamnym and makrolidny antibiotics, acid resisting bacteria and atypical forms of microorganisms, and also the anaerobic bacteria steady against medicamentous influence.

Contraindications

In the instruction to Aveloks it is specified that its use is inadmissible at such diseases as pseudomembranous colitis and a heavy renal failure. Reception of tablets is prohibited pregnant women and the feeding women, children up to 18 years and to persons with individual intolerance of any components of drug. Extra care is necessary at prescription of medicine for patients with the diseases of the central nervous system assuming probability of developing of convulsive attacks. Such diseases as a liver failure, acute ischemia of a myocardium, bradycardia, a hypopotassemia are also a reason for care at Aveloks's appointment.

Route of administration and dosage

Aveloks's reception can be carried out at any time, irrespective of meal. Tablets are swallowed entirely as integrity of their cover cannot be broken. A drug elimination half-life – long process therefore medicine is quite enough to be accepted once a day. The daily therapeutic dose should not exceed 400 mg. After oral administration of Aveloks it is soaked up quickly enough and almost completely. The maximum level of drug in blood after the single use is observed after 0,5-4 hours from the moment of reception. Achievement of stable level of a moksifloksatsin in plasma comes after three days of regular reception.

Infusional therapy is carried out or in an initiation of treatment with further transfer of the patient into use Aveloks in tablets, or used up to recovery.

Depending on a disease duration of therapy makes from 7 to 10 days.

Side effects

According to responses, side reactions arise rather seldom, on condition of observance of rules of dosing. In the instruction to Aveloks the following possible negative effects are specified:

• Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, taste disturbance, stomatitis, diarrhea;
• Increase in number of cordial reductions, pain behind a breast, heartbeat, increase in arterial pressure;
• Dizziness, sleep disorder, feeling of a depression, alarm, confusion of consciousness, general weakness;
• Dorsodynia, muscle and joints pains, tendovaginitis, rupture of a sinew;
• Itch, skin rashes;
• Hyperglycemia, lipidemia, hyperuricemia;
• Febricula, hypostases.

Special instructions

At emergence of a joint pain or in sinews at Aveloks's reception drug is cancelled not to allow a rupture of a sinew.

At patients with epilepsy of Aveloks can provoke spasms.

At development of heavy diarrhea against the background of Aveloks's reception, it is cancelled.

Reception of antacids and enterosorbents, and also drugs which part iron, aluminum is and magnesium has to happen at different times to Aveloks, the difference has to make not less than 4 hours.

Drug is not used for treatment of children.

Terms and storage conditions
