Benalgin

Таблетки БенальгинBenalgin – the combined medicine having the febrifugal, anesthetizing and antiinflammatory effect.

Form of release and structure

Drug is produced in the form of flat white tablets, a round form, with dividing risky on one of the parties (on 10 pieces in the blister, on 2 blisters in a pack cardboard).

Structure of 1 tablet of Benalgin:

  • Metamizole sodium – 500 mg;
  • Caffeine – 50 mg;
  • Thiamin a hydrochloride – 38,75 mg.

Excipients: gelatin, cellulose microcrystallic, talc, starch wheat, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide colloid.

Indications to use

  • Joint pain;
  • Radicular syndrome;
  • Neuralgia;
  • Algodismenorey;
  • Renal, bilious and intestinal colic;
  • Head, dentagra;
  • Migraine;
  • Mialgiya;
  • The increased body temperature at the diagnosed catarrhal or infectious and inflammatory diseases.

Contraindications

  • Bronchospasm;
  • Heavy liver and renal failure;
  • Sleeplessness;
  • Uncontrollable arterial hypertension;
  • The increased intraocular pressure;
  • Deficit glyukozo-6-fosfatdegidrogenazy;
  • Pregnancy and period of breastfeeding;
  • Hypersensitivity to drug components;
  • Oppression of a marrowy hemopoiesis;
  • The expressed atherosclerosis;
  • Leukopenia, agranulocytosis, hemolitic anemia.

Medicine is not applied at children aged up to 12 years.

At a liver and renal failure drug is used with care.

Route of administration and dosage

Benalgin accept on 1 tablet 2-3 times a day, at the expressed pain syndrome – 2 tablets at the same frequency rate of reception. Drug is recommended to be accepted in the first half of day.

To children of 12-16 years appoint on ½-1 to a tablet 2-3 times a day.

It is not necessary to exceed the maximum daily dose: to children – 4 tablets, the adult – 6 tablets.

As an antipyretic Benalgin accept not longer than 3 days, as anesthetic – not longer than 5 days.

Side effects

Medicine can cause allergic reactions, such as an acute anaphylaxis, an itch, skin rash, a Quincke's edema, a bronchospasm.

Long administration of drug can cause thrombocytopenia, heartbeat, a leukopenia, disturbances of a heart rhythm, an agranulocytosis, a sleep disorder.

At overdose by drug vomiting, mental and motive excitement, nausea, pains in epigastriums, tachycardia, reduction of a diuresis, disturbance of a heart rhythm and epileptiform spasms can develop.

Special instructions

In order to avoid mutual strengthening of toxic effects it is necessary to be careful at simultaneous use of Benalgin with the following medicines:

  • Other non-narcotic analgesics;
  • Oral contraceptives;
  • Allopyrinolum;
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs;
  • Tricyclic antidepressants.

Conditions and periods of storage

Drug should be stored at a temperature of 15-25 °C.

Period of validity – 3 years.
